  1. That's what I was thinking, but then I have a feeling that the oem skirts will not look right
  2. It's an evolution/explosion spoiler I'm now torn between a trial rear and the doluck rear
  3. Took an 8hr round trip to collect a spoiler and some wings from up north on Saturday
  4. Looks like a spammer is on board, seen this posted elsewhere too
  5. Car is now back on the road after the mini overhaul I'm not convinced I like the look of the Kansai lip (still working on the Trial), so thinking of changing this to something else
  6. Fitted mine properly today Think it could have gone up a little higher
  7. Managed to get the skirts and spats reprimed over the weekend and painted up today , they dried pretty quickly so decided to fit them Having completed the engine repairs , I decided to relocate the Blitz BOV to the engine bay, one thing lead to another and the hoses ended up getting replaced with blue silicone The spark plug cover had been done in BMW Sapphire black so changed this to Vauxhall Arden Blue Rear window visor has also been refitted, am tempted to get it wrapped in white vinyl
  8. Eventually got the skirts in etch today, really annoyed that I took two days off and the weather has turned nasty Whilst at it I decided to start modifying the front bumper , I hate the look of the canards so cut them out , will fibreglass the holes over tomorrow Before After
  9. The engine is all back together now, Gary (mk4gaz) popped over last weekend and helped get some bits fitted and got the timing all sorted out Gave the car an oil and filter change , topped up with coolant and started her up on Friday, I'm pleased to say there are no more smoke issues on start up A set of genuine skirts came up for sale which I had to have , luckily Ric agreed to bring them down to London and Gary came to the rescue again and kindly collected them for me whilst I was at work yesterday Collected them today and gave them a quick fit
  10. So far so good with the valve stem seal replacement , all the old inlet seals were intact (but very hard) , all the old exhaust seals were broken and floating on the valve stems (no wonder it was smoking so heavily on start up) had a slight mishap whilst replacing the collets on no6 exhaust side , where I managed to drop one of the collets down an oil passage After a trip to 2 Machine Marts and Halfords, I decided to try Maplin and got a torch with a magnetic pick up tool, luckily on the second attempt the lost collet was retrieved So all the valves are now done, the new water pump, thermostat and associated pipework has been refitted I'll spend the rest of the evening reading up on refitting the cams and write down all the torque settings of the parts I have to replace
  11. Have a search on here, I've ordered valves from here for my advan wheels http://www.tyre-equipment.co.uk/acatalog/Truck___Bus_Tyre_Valves_to_fit_16_mm_rim_holes.html
  12. I'm out too, hopefully the Supra will be back on the road next month
  13. Had the dash panels in my mr2 flocked and they've not faded in the 4 years they've been fitted Got the Supra panels flocked blue to match my recaro's
  14. Trial rear arrived today so it's almost time to take the supra off the road, get the bumpers fitted and sprayed and then to strip down the head to replace the valve stem seals

    Knight Racer.

My Knight Racer skirts and front lip trial fitted, fitment is pretty good
  16. There are two different types of Wolfrace sharks , there are the decent ones with a polished lip and the other ones have a fake chrome lip Unfortunately the set I had was the second type
  17. Got the skirts and lip trial fitted last week Not that convinced I like the Kansai lip so got a bumper off eBay I'm not too sure what lights fit the bumper though
  18. Didn't realise the one photo was upside down as it's fine on my iPhone and iPad
  19. Steering wheel is out of a newer Rav4 , there is a similar wheel out a Corolla which is part leather
  20. Dash was flocked by a company in Watford (Thomas & Vines) , I'm not convinced that I like the blue though so thinking of getting it redone in black
  21. Another day spent outside, trial fitted the Knight Racer Kansai front lip
  22. Trial fitted the drivers side skirt, not a bad fit
  23. Little bits done , had the dash trim flocked blue to match the seats And my bodykit bits arrived today Have gone with oem skirts and spats with a Kansai lip
  24. Me too, could get it flocked to match the dash trims
