  3. chris - thank you for the input. it was my intention to look at 6-8 grooves on just such a disc - period . i was also thinking of swopping the fronts and leaving the UK rears (of course changing pads all-round).
  4. errm - is this still happening ? if so, when, where blah blah blah ..
  5. thanks nic. much appreciated...
  6. was thinking of the proj mU's too but you're right - bloody expensive! will look at the DBA's ... i do NOT always drive below 20mph !! don't you have something useful to go and do somewhere else ?

    Tyres

falkens aren't a bad tyre - the 451's especially IMO, not sure if they should be classed as budget tho ... part of the range maybe? i would take the so2's over the so3's anyday .. had contis on my m3 and they weren't bad i thought currently have pzero rossos - can't find too much to fault would like some pilot sport cups but can't get 'em at a decent price so will be going goodyears next .......

richard - pls fell free to ask all the questions you like. i am currently running pirelli p-zero rossos on them. i got mine thru justin at torque ic who rang the main importer here (sori but can't remember the name - think it was DP Motorsports?) and got them at a good price. i got the tyres from micheldever also at a pretty good price and so was well happy overall. funny enough - i have been thinking of selling the rims/tyres and upgrading to 19''s (with slightly larger rear tyres) but have been (a) unable to find the (rare) rims i want in that size nor (b) the (hard-to-come-by) tyres i really want in that size either. bah ...i'm sure given my luck, it will be far too expensive anyways for now! not sure what to do really .... i think if i cannot get what i really want, i will stick with them for now. i am very happy with the rims and when really polished and set-off against a black car that has been lowered - it really looks the biz IMO. the 2nd pic barely does them justice ! BTW - thanks for the heads up on pristine as well ... if you would like more pics - i'll have a trawl through and see what i can come up with. TDraper - thank you very mcuh for your kind words and i am indeed looking at painting the spokes and keeping the rim a polished silver .....

ahh - thank you. will call tomorrow to chat if that is ok ? any idea how long the process takes generally ? attaching pic ...
  20. i was hoping that slotted ones like the 3g/brembo n proj mU ones would offer increased stopping power and fade resistance ? i am going to run endless pads and just wanted to upgrade the rotors soon as well ...
  21. hi guys - i would like to know from those who are either contemplating or have had their brake rotors changed as to which brand would be good for the supe. i currently have the UK brake set-up (front n back) and am looking at changing the rotors only and it must fit this set-up ie. like sized rotors for a direct swop. some of the brands i have been looking at are 3g, brembo, proj mU (my fav) and stoptech/tarox/red dot etc.... TIA.
