  1. in terms of ease and practicability (sp?), i guess an effective cold-air box which allowed ducting to a vent near/below the headlamps would also work ? this would allow both users of replacement filters as well as induction kits to purchase them ?
  2. sad to say but an e36 m3, and older rs2 or older scooby ...
  3. tried to send you a PM twice over 2 days but your box is ALWAYS FULL !!
  4. ashley 'dude jnr' willis to the rescue of the vvti's ? anytime (...err soon that is!) old son :flame Dev just kidding 'junior' - i'm sure you'll leave me in the dust ...
  5. ahh - i see a pre-facelift vs post facelift 'discussion' beginning here... any of the 'olde skool' pre-facelifts wanna give good ol' ash a 'run' for his money ? :D ash - the issue of the glass lamps is correct tho' ...

    lsd or rltc

what is the difference between the stock diff and an lsd in real world application terms ? what does one do that the other doesn't ?
  10. tsk tsk, now thats not exactly what 'mr nice' should say, should he ?
  11. does anyone on here run an import on a 'foreign license' (yep, for all those unsuspecting folks out there - i'm a johnny foreigner)? reason i'm asking is that i am shopping around for new insurance and just wondered what loading was given to my non-citizenship status (and central london address!). i do have a UK driver's license but it was swopped over from my singapore license. i am gonna declare my zorst n alloys for my gz tt aerotop but nothing else. also wondering about my defi's though ... and BC, ERL kit, cams, induction, snooper, TRD wing/bonnet, Greddy lip, FMIC, swaybars, RLTC, tints blah blah blah ......... thanks guys.
  12. definately john. looking forward to it. your point about a kind of kill switch would be a good one to run past matt at some point for feasibility. i like the idea ...
  13. unholy wire job batman, its time for CLIPPERMAAANNN !!!! is it a car ? ... is it a supra ? ... NO, it's MattyH !! able to find any electrical gubbin in any car, faster than any other techie, able to squirm into a supra footwell in a single movement ... :p oh dear, i think he's gonna kill me now nonetheless john - an extremely good idea i think to combat some of the grease monkeys out there ...
  14. yep - he's the resident spray can guru (although i would never admit this to his face!)
  15. rob - i;m in kinda the same boat myself as i need to get some new tyres. i currently have the pZero Rossos and cannot complain about the grip in either the wet or dry. i WAS looking for michelin pilot sport cup tyres but they are waaayyy too expensive so thought of going with the goodyears as a few on here have them and rave about them. i bought my pirelli's from micheldever (245/35/18 x 2 and 285/30/18 x 2) for around 700 quid if i recall correctly in march last year.
  16. misting problems in the morning ?
  17. u hv the aircon on in this weather ?
  18. nnnooo - just thanked him for his input on the brakes. don't you have to be somewhere baiting a UK spec owner or something ?
