ceramic stock 1 bar !!! (prior setting was 1.15 bar max) unknown exactly - egt gauge was hovering around 900-920 mark and mine is plumbed in b4 the turbos 10 yrs/ apprx 50k miles (can't remember what it came over in KM) serviced every 3k - ie. full service done twice in last year, once with cambelt mods - 264 cams, ERL, hiper zorst, full decat, blitz induction, HkS I/C not too sure - 2nd turbo not boosting at all, blades missing from 2nd turbo but can't tell how many, shaft play from 1st turbo also driving style considered to be quite mild when compared to a few on here who shall remain nameless ..

dave - so now you want a single eh ? funnee ...... had the same thought after the ride i agree the lag is not such a major factor (was expecting far worse) and the responsiveness when on-boost is surprising to say the least. however ........... i STILL prefer the sequential delivery ! maybe i'm just a lazy driver that can't wait for the surge and prefer that 2nd kick

good to see some old faces and a few new ones as well. great day out as usual and the usual procession thru soho caused quite a stir. those norwegian guys sure were enthused about seeing so many supras. it was wonderful to meet AG (Sheena) - thanx for the ride. first time i got in a supe with a lady driver but must say she held her own even with the guys chasing down everything in site. and also great to meet chrissuprasz n missus. also oxygene - nice to meet you mate. suprafly - sweet car dude ! as for the old hands - a pleasure as always. doug, ash n clair, kev, chris n bro, keith n faye, si and paul etc hope i didn't miss anyone. as usual - big thanks to sham for doing his bit for all ... missing in action - geeza dave, skywater, daverex, raoul etc .. special shout out to J (supraguy) for the ride in the rock'n'roll express .......

in the beginning, i was a little nervous coz there is so little room to manouvre in the city especially with your lack of traction or TC everytime you put your foot down. but once i got the hang of anticipating the turbos coming online - what a rush !!! doug looked a little green that night i must admit ! thanks for the ride J.

i believe both doug and i were the first passengers in J's car on Sat and what a beast it was. i was cringing from the sounds coming from the engine - i would have swore blind that wastegate sound was the engine blowing up every single time. between the flames coming out the back, the noise and the severe lack of traction - it was one hell of a ride! the sense that you get when it pins you back is both scary and exhilarating (sp?) at the same time. people were going ga-ga over it ! J - congrats on a great car mate .... now go get rltc, bigger brakes and new tyres !!

i can see a visit to SF coming on shortly. it's a pity for the UK community that there aren't any big power NA's around. i'm sure given the tuning potential of the 2jz, and possibly lower (maybe?) tuning costs - it would have been something several people would have been interested in!

so who's being the naughty boy then ?

does anyone know who has a highly modded (power) NA ? what sort of power can it put out and what are the costs involved ? i just asking for real world examples here in the UK. i know that engine porting, cams, manifolds etc plus nitrous can make for an extremely lively car but was wondering if anyone has gone down that route and what their experiences were .. ?

justin - i have a copy trd in fibreglass without rainguards but have had absolutely no problem even in the pouring rain ! but i don't want to tempt fate either seeing as how my luck is currently going !
