  1. Ok thanks chris, is there a way to try free this up until i can get hold of a refurb kit ?
  2. I changed my own pads last week so i know they the smaller 2/1 pot brakes, what sort of money are the refurb kits ?
  3. And i think i know what blinded that child, he walked out of his house at just the wrong time, that chrome supra was driving past and with the sun BAM !
  4. Ok i know it looks like alot of people dont like this vinyl wrapping but what sort of money are you looking at to have a whole car wrapped ? is it quite alot cheaper than a full respray or ?
  5. Its a learning curve everyday for me on here, having only had my supra for 3 weeks im looking to learn more and more about them as i go, you guys have helped me alot, i think im just going to free the slider and if it still does it then i'll just get new discs all round to be safe, same as my pads only the rears were worn but whilst i had the money i got all 4 sets
  6. Im not sure about the uk spec cause the caliper is all in one kind of thing if you get me arent they ? mine are j pec ones so havnt seen any uk spec yet, but i think if the problem persists robski i will do what you did, maybe even buy all new disks and a full brake set
  7. Ah ok then mate, thanks for the help its very much appreciated, i did think the same that if the pads are brand new anyway the slider isnt going to be moving alot anyway, i will have to have the disc checked out again if this dont solve the problem
  8. Ok then thanks mate ill give it a go at the weeked when the wheels are off and if that dont work then i'll get it looked at properly
  9. Yeah i know that this is probably the cause as i have seen it in another thread i just didnt know if anyone knew how to fix this, i am quite expierienced with brakes as i have been banger racing for 3 years so am often taking brakes apart and hubs etc i just have never come across this and as its my first supra thought i better ask before i attempt myself

    hi all

Lovely car and lovely weather lol
  11. Haha love it Lbm maybe the t shirt will make me feel like im going faster and i can just make the BOV with my mouth or something haha
  12. No the discs are fine my mate checked them on his machine when they were off
  13. Ok so when i got my new supra it werent braking too well, so i got all new brake pads, the discs are fine i checked them when i had them off, the bearings are fine i have no wheel wobble, now to the point, i still have brake wobble, its ok for a little while, then if i brake hard it will wobble and then will carry on for a little while after that then stop, its just unredictable, now when i was changing the pads i noticed that one of the bits on the calliper where the 14mm bolt goes into, i noticed that on all wheels that that part could slide in and out freely, but on one of my wheels it couldnt it was seized at the top making it difficult for me to put the pads back over the disc. Is this my problem ? and if so has anyone else ever had this and what may be the fix ? Cheers
  14. Thats what i thought lol, a supra engine can never be too loud haha, i hate it when you hear a 1.2 saxo with a stupidly loud exhaust cause it just sounds stupid but i like to hear the purr of a supra engine as load as possible lol
  15. That is cheap dude ! for £2.5k and extra's of course you can get a kit in which you can say my car will beat a lambo, ferari ...... lol GLWS
  16. Iv been thinking about getting their bomex bumper and skirts but was hoping to fit myself so if the fitting is not good i will be devistated
  17. woah bet that needs some polishing
  18. Haha i want to now but at the moment my savings is a big fat £0 lol, im still recovering from spending all of last months and nearly all of this months wages already on my NA lol
  19. Ooh think im going to have to fork out for a t shirt, polo shirt, hoody and mug heard the tea goes faster in a supra mug, maybe have time for 2 cuppas in the morning
  20. Saving is the way forward but its hard for me as i after everything is paid each month i dont have an aweful lot left over to save, but something good has just come up which is a little job on the side for my dads business in which i get an extra £100 a week for about 4 hours work a week across 2 nights during the week, its a good start, i just have to put it somehwhere and forget about it and be content with my NA for the time being i think, the thing is i think when it comes to it im gonna end up selling and buying a single or TT which is not what i intended to do when i brought my NA because i was looking forward to the idea of converting this car thats been an NA all its life into something faster. We will see when the time comes.
  21. Well i think the decision has been made, ill save hard for a year maybe a year and a half and try to afford a single or a TT, i can easily save around £3k in a year so that along with the sale of mine should find me a half decent auto TT or single shouldnt it
  22. This is why i wanted to put my own kit together, im currently waiting on someone supplying me with a full list of every single thing i will need for an NA-T conversion so i can buy parts as and when i can afford them
  23. Just meet up with Lui's mega convoy mate, i wish i was going but i really cant afford it this year
