    TT Auto box

I had a BL one and probably did more drag runs than most as well as thousands of miles on it no probs! Have a look on the boostlogic website
  4. The 3sgte engine has huge potential! If your serious and are happy to put the supra on a diet you could end up with a decent setup. I'd like to see a 3sgte pushing 500+hp and weighing in at 1300kg's, with good weight distribution tearing up the track! If your prepared to go as far as doing a swap then you might as well do it properly IMHO
  5. Its not looking good for as of this week on the trip. I'm building a small house at the moment as well as my normal day job and delays/extra costs mean I'll probably be finishing as much of it off myself. I have to get this finished and let out asap so the trip as of now is on hold. I'm gutted to say the least:( Sorry Guys.
  6. For what it's worth, I had the blue spots all over my TDI front grooved disks after 1 trackday. I replaced them with dba disks and road race pads. At the same time I had all the brakes overhauled with the service kits. Since then no problems at all. I'm now sure that the first setup had a very small amount of rubbing from the pads to the disks generating a lot of friction heat. By servicing the calipers there would be better movement on the pads when releasing brake pressure meaning no disk/pad contact.
  7. Fitting a tranny cooler is not too complicated. The passenger side front vent is a good place for it.. At the moment your cooling is done by passing the oil through a pipe in front of main radiator and back into the transmission. Bypass this with some new braided hose to the cooler. if your lucky the old pipe might reach the position of the new cooler. Here's one for sale: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=144890
  8. Simon Awsome kit that. I'd imagine You'll want the 264 cams to get the best out of it and maybe another fuel pump and if you ever want to run much above 1.4 bar:d . With regard to the screamer pipe t67 ish setup with a 3" inch exhaust you'll not notice any power loss. You might at 2bar boost:eyebrows: I have to say I really like the manual . The std cams mean good low down torque but maybe up 50 hp less at 1.4 bar I was bored of the high stall Bl box setup but it did get the car up 100 nice and fast:d. cruising at 2400 rpms in 6th 80+ leptons is a novelty to me! Improved fuel consumption too. And its quiet:d Ive transfered one of the tranny coolers to the power steering and the oil cooler is now on its own. Ive also put a special gasket between the inlet plenum and the head to reduce heat transfer. I think I'l try put r888's on the front 245's.
  9. Hi. Steve. Sorry for any delays with money, it'll be done tonight! Re: exhaust...All I can say is I wish I'd done it earlier. Even with the same exhaust back box as before the result is huge. Ive got to get it tested soon but driving/ overtaking is now done without the ear splitting scream and even std driving/ motorway cruising is quite reasonable:) Simon. What setup/single are you installing? #I still havn't got the proper built engine back in yet But all the parts have been collected. I'm currently having direct port meth. 51water/49meth mix inj. being installed to give me a few more hp and run a degrees cooler. The std cams are strangling the cars performance , and the heavy wheels ruining the suspension setup I think:blink:. I'm going to soften up the anti roll settings on the front and drop it a notch on the suspension. also I might increase the camber by 1.5 degrees, Although I'm not really all sure what the combined results will be. Anyone got any 17"/ 18 " lightweight wheels for sale:) and a set of 264 cams???
  10. I could sell you a pair of 17s! Or a complete set of 18's that fit uk brakes! o all 6 if you want!
  11. I'll take the washer jet, but one that is not broken. They are marked l and r . Can you confirm what one is not broken.
  12. I think all running costs are important, and I like the idea that these cars can still produce OK MPG with a light foot:innocent: on a long journey. If i'm out on a fast drive mpg isnt so important but if I'm on a long trip I like to get the best out of the car I can. Quite a few folk use their supra for the commute and enjoy the car potential when they can. The best Mpg I got was on a trip to Scotland when my car was bpu and averaged nearly 30 mpg, but mostly I was getting around 25. It's a long time ago now so I dont have the figures any more. I think some people have even better mpg's , so driving style is as important as ever.
  13. :d:p Time for me to stand up and say : "I'm Spartacus"
  14. That looks like Justins ol' car from Torque IC. This is going back 5 years or so
  15. Have you any idea of the weight saving per side over the uk spec brakes?

  18. Do you know the width and offset? I'm intersted.
  19. Who's the best person here for std parts? wasn't there a guy at toyota that got the club a discount parts?
  20. Hi. I'd like to buy the clutch piping from the master, slave and pedal box. I don't know the part numbers for these though I'd also like to get a new clutch master cylinder If anyone could help? Thanks. Rob
  21. Do you have any idea of the weights? Could you find out how heavy the rears/fronts are.
