  1. Please read this thread....re: distribution and showing. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=97026 Cheers... Si
  2. Its almost finished, pheeew...autoconforming tommorow...been working every night and every day no sleep etc It WILL be ready to be shown tommorow at the Ace Cafe. (Unless something goes horribly wrong thats out of my control) HOWEVER I cannot distribute them in time for tommorow as there is absolutely no time to duplicate them etc etc. I will need two days OFF to recover SERIOUSLY lol...then i hope to get them out Next week in conjunction with Jon PIG if he is still up for that...you are welcome to put orders in now via Jon PIG, (or you can view it first tommorow) It was a huge battle, lots of problems to overcome (lots) I wanted to grade it and filmerge it (these are just tweaks but i dont have the money for that ..but i did try) But i think you will like it...most of you Will appear in it somewhere but there may be a few that don make it in (I apologise if thats the case)...also we concentrated on a few to help tell the story, i couldn't find a feasable way to approach it otherwise...otherwise it would just be a load of cars going up and down a road lol. FINGERS Crossed nothing goes tits up with the autoconform tommorow....pheew im off to bed..heavy day tommorow heeeelp:rolleyes: Thanks for your support and encouragement its greatly appreciated. Wish me luck Si
  3. I dont watch Big Brother thats because i have really good wallpaper. I got an idea? (slightly off topic lol) Why Dont we have 'our own forum Big Brother?' How it would work is we all vote who we think should share a thread for a few weeks thats locked so only they can use it! All the troublesome ones on here (like myself:p ) and a few others like me ha ha Then we have a second thread where we discuss it and the last one to be voted off by the members wins a prize i think that would be a right laugh...might get bit heated at times though...but it would be well funny. What do ya reckon? Im serious lol. Si
  4. No, Thank you dude, i just hope it gets a good review from the members (I'm cacking myself lol). Its so tight to get it done in time..so if no-one minds, i wil have to send the DVD's out after the showing, i just cant get the copies done in time to hand out..im sorry about that as i am literally editing, right upto the Tuesday night...i would love to give it another week of work if i could but it will go on for ever...so it will be finished for showing at Ace Cafe (unless something very badly goes wrong) Then after Wednesday i will be copying the DVD's on a proper Duplicater designing and making the lables and inserts...I really want to do the best i can in the time i have...as i say i would of liked another week but it has to be finished...and i want to be able to goto the pub n have a pint lol
  5. 20 hours? more like friggin 50 lol:d Poor Editor was 24 years old when he started, hes suddenly aged lol This is basically shot and edited like a Television Programme with home video money lol...thats why its hard, if only i could give you an insight into who i've almost had to sleep with to get to this point! And another thing...Please dont crucify Steve anyone coz his comments are good discipline for me and are as good as encouragement..but i am onto the second turbo as we speak! you are all good mates!
  6. Aww Steve, listen i dont blame you for feeling this way, I'm feeling the same as you... I am editing we are cutting it (and have been) almost every day since Christmas and shortly before, i didn't realise what i had taken on to be honest and to improve the qaulity, make it fun and enjoyable rather than a load of Supras gone up and down a road lol) I have shot extra material to slice into it, in order to make it more exciting and personal to you guys. If i was to do another one (or if anyone else does one in this way) bare in mind it will take 6months at least... We have the autoconform on Monday/Tuesday and some other treatment we need to add after...its going to be very tight and its a race against time, the editor can only do certain evenings and its tough for him coz he edits all day too and hes virtually about to die lol....i have to keep him enthused thats very hard work too. Yep I was asking for any footage because if theres any gems out there id hate to miss em, but its too late now..the only person that supplied footage in the end was SimonB bless him.. The whole point of this was i was hoping for lots of others video to cut too, this would of made it a lot fuller and more personal..they have done this on Gumball etc and it works really well..so next time people must send their stuff into be added lol...coz those bits Seriously are more than often the best. Dissapointed that only Si B sent stuff in, but it wont stop it being really good lol (but thats upto you to decide) the Showing will ensure that a few of you get to see it first and then pass on what you think to everyone else no one is obliged to buy a copy...but it would help my huge debt accumilated if ya did lol...coz this things wrecked me in loads of ways..i started smoking again now You have all been really patient and i hope i meet the deadline thats the goal, it is a real race against time...we are scheduled to finish it literally with one days grace, so it is a challenge and i love a challenge, lets hope i dont let you down coz i wanna see this as much as you.. Im sorry Steve and everyone....we are nearly finished...Wednesday showing is the goal and i aim to make it for that date if it kills me (which it probably will lol) Respect to ya all Si
  7. Sorry didn't realise you had two, im sure she will forget, if only we knew. Thats quite odd behaviour, im sure she will forget shes just frightened and in deep shock maybe..i hope by now ya cuddling her again and shes responding ok... Its tough I know losing a pet and losing one in such circumstances like that is horrific. i cradled my beloved Border Collie in my arms trying desperatly to do anything i could to save him, gloucose, injections you name it,.. he had leakhemia...i would carry him outside for him to goto the loo, there was some suggested hope from the vet so i hung on, but in reality he was dying, i carried him out to my Dads car to take him to be put to sleep and one of the neighbours shouted 'you should feed that dog' I cuddled him one last time, he scrambled on his feet upon the Vets bench, as the park i always took him to was just near the vets and he thought and senced we were near his favourite playground...i cuddled him and didn't want to let go..my brother dragged me away from him (he had too) i guess i was being selfish really...because the kindest thing to do was to let him die in a dignified and (seemingly) painless way... I was 17 at the time and when i go back to Shepton Mallet where I lived for a bit i often take a look at the park where i walked him and the last place i saw him....even all these years on...although the emotional wounds are still there in your soul, as time goes by they dont hurt anymore..but they are still there...and anyone like you or me (who truly loves their pets) always keeps a room in their heart for them! Take Care Dude. Si
  8. Can someone bring a copy on DVD to the Ace Cafe Next Wednesday?...would be great to see it during the disco or summit!
  9. Awww James bless you mate, thats really awful, I'm so sorry to hear this. You often talked about your Cat on here, I remember how close you were. You cuddled her to sleep, and you did all ya could, you were there for her last moments.. Very Upsetting...been a bad few days for pets on here.. Really Sorry. Si
  10. I would but I only have a Landcruiser now...looks like hes put a lot of effort into it, The layout looks great! All the best of luck and if i get another cool car i'll certainly consider joining! Its great when people do things like this, takes a great deal of effort and work to organise... I'm sure he'll get lots of new members I'll pass the link on to a few of my mates! (oh I havent got any mates:d damm shit lol) Seriously good luck yeah..looks cool! Si
  11. The trouble is with using these 'DIY medical sites' is that there are so many illnesses and viruses that have similar symptoms, that you can end up in a cold sweat thinking you have something like cancer, when its only something like a mild case of food poisoning or a common flu. a mate of mine thought he had skin cancer after looking at one of these sites, went to see a dermatologist and it was... ...a shaving rash:p so he had to cancel the Funeral arrangements:d If ya ill dont go searching on the Internet, because it will just freak you out and you will think the worst....as i say symptons of most things run a parallel with more major conditions... Near me I have a Private clinic I went there after Christmas with Bronchitus, a few of us had it...and it cost me £80 (though you can sign up to a scheme to save money), if i had gone to a GP on the NHS i would of had to wait two weeks i was told...£80 well spent, coz he made me better and i was able to work and thats important coz i only get paid for the days i do, time off costs me greatly (especially after Christmas) There are lots of dedicated people who work at the NHS, but there is also a lot of incompetant people too. I have had several bad experiences where members of my own family have been bit short changed by the NHS... Like everything in this country..the NHS just cant cope, they are not designed to accomadate the 'amount' of people that now live in the UK! Si ooopps long rant who the hell is gonna read all that doh lol
  12. Cheers Ro...Needs to arrive by this coming Tuesday, so must be sent out on Monday..ok lol Wednesday latest lol...still waiting on Guru's!!!!!
  13. Thats a great idea Ash...i might be in for this...but will have to wait til Feb as very skint at mo lol. can you fix it so i win and i'll buy you a pint...sssshhh:p
  14. Yep i know how you feel about frustrations with the NHS...and trusting GP's and even specialists. But at least you are actually going to have something done I suppose, its all for the good, and i'm guessing its a regular tried and tested process with this kind of operation..so im sure there is absolutely no chance of complications. Diagnosing anything to do with stomach problems is always hard from what i have learned, most symtoms are fairly similar from what i hear, from IBS to Stomach Cancer... My Brother is having similar problems he has been seeing people for over three years and they still can't pin point exactly what problem he has, but i hear of people going private and they still have problems getting the correct diognosis for this kind of thing. But yeah timing is important, would be nice if the NHS took 'stomach complaints' a little more serious thus saving situations developing as a result of incompetance on their part. Rest assured though the surgeons will work wonders and you'll be right as rain...its a regular type operation so dont panic dude, we'll all be thinkin of ya, lying in bed n being lazy for a few weeks, eating too many grapes he he. keep us updated and rant as much as ya feel you wanna if it helps, we're here for you, and some may have had similar situations so it might help in that way.. Take Care Buddy. Si
  15. Sorry to hear this Syed...what a beautiful dog, at least it happened quick i suppose, so he prob didn't feel any pain... he looked like a well loved doggie. Im sure you spoilt him rotten.. Tough I know. Si
  16. Im so sorry to hear about little Pixy..shes looks a fluffy happy soul in the picture, really content...looks like she had a wonderful life. It s so hard i know, I've been there, but she was so lucky to have the love you gave her, so many animals neglected or ill treated these days..at least you can say you did all you can to give her the happiest life a dog like her deserved. Si
  17. Ah nothing this morning Guru, i dont understand...should of got here by now surely!!!! Did you post it at the Post Office, might be better, sounds like someones nicking stuff somewhere...its pretty urgent now...ive also lost two days editing coz they are laying a new carpet at the edit suite, this is valuable time and it means im smoking too much , where as i planned to give up lol...i have 60 or so people who will eat my flesh if its not done by the 24th lololololol. Heeeeelp Si
  18. Wow....This is exactly what i want....(if i only I had the money) I'd sell my ass for that:p

  20. Hi guys, soz I got kidknapped by Sheena for a couple of days..only just got back via edit suite in Faringdon! Guru I will check post again 2morrow morning (fingers crossed) cheers dude. Yep Shame about French Steve, Ive got a French mate to try email him and hes heard nothing back either Jon, shame theres no Phone number for him..unless anyone knows his number! Will call you about Saturday Jon Cheers ever so much! Si
  21. Dont worry I'm with you on this... The Snobbery (YEAH YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE:p ), i too bought Supras with little knowledge of cars(my first had a Toyota Warrenty) People didn't really modify them when i first bought mine, I had no reason too either, i just took it to the garage when the washer fluid needed topping up:p There are 'Geeks' on here, bit like the nerdy bloke with the glasses in The Fast And The Furious, Some of them really know their stuff, some of them think they do, and some of them have a small penus ha ha. I kind of model myself on Vin Diesal, i know jack shit about replacing a radiator cap, but i wear Gucci sunglasses...! Though have to say when i have needed advice this site has been a useful source of info, but i'm more into the social element and driving, racing, touring..prefer tto be behind the wheel than under the bonnet...But there are the ones who prefer to be under the hood and im thankful for that when ive needed the help. There are other people on here that are helpful in other ways..like Sheena with her delicious Chocolate cakes;)

  23. I'm still waiting for footage that some have, to put into the final Online Edit. I understand Guru is sending some footage, I have Simon B's (Thanks Si!) The idea is we were supposed to edit all our stuff into one mix, but so far I have only recieved one video of the Dragonball.(Si B) I noticed several people whilst editing hanging out of cars with video cameras...I Assure you we are editing it all very 'sensitively!!!!!!' Also dont be worried if you think your footage is not good enough, you'll be amazed what we can do, plus we will only put in a few seconds here and there.( the best moments or something that helps tell the story) Its not to late to send it in and of course you will get a Credit on the end titles...I know there are some Gems out there. The French Supra owner Im trying to get hold of and still waiting for Guru's If anyone knows the French chap (Please give him a nudge for me and ask him if he can contact me PLEAAAASE) Anyone else again you might think your footage is shit..honestly "ITS NOT' lol and 'WE NEED IT NOWWWW' lol If I get it by next Tuesday then we can use it in the Dragonball....Please do ya best..the whole point of this is to make a video that includes as many peoples footage as possible. Cheers All... Si Please PM me as soon as poss cheers
  24. Incredible. Obviously video images can be manipulated very convincingly with enough money and the right eqpt (CGI whatever) I believe in UFO's more than i believe in God though! I used to live in Wiltshire and i witnessed two, though one wasn't exactly a UFO, as it was a huge dome on the playing field in Seend Wiltshire at around midnight, in those days the lights in the village switched off at about 11.30, My Mum and i walked the dog to the playing field and saw an Orange dome, it was a perfect sphere on the ground. We returned home scared, My Mum considered calling the Police but my Dad talked her out of it thinking we were both barmy. No-one else mentioned it (nothing heard in the Village Shop the next day and of course if we mentioned it people would of thought we were barmy), i guess the villigers may have all been asleep people went to bed early in those days. I asked my Mother before she passed away if i had imagined us seeing that when i was a child and she remembered it very well..there were quite a few reports of unexplained lights and metallic objects around that time, plus local RAF press releases of radar readings of objects following Military Aircraft. My brother had a friend who lived in the village who joined the RAF, hes a senior Officer these days and he was convinced of the existance of Unexplained Flying Objects to the point of being a fanatic.(this was after claiming to have seen strange things in the sky whilst flying jet fighters) Christopher Columbus is listed in history for discovering that the world is indeed round and not flat...we are not intelligent enough yet to work out what these things are. Personally I think its the MKV Supra that will be introduced in the year 2120! just obviously they are working on the developement..and i guess it takes a long time! (bit like reading my posts:( )
