Green Peace replied to Heyrick's topic in Off Topic
You could PM Mawby, he knows that area quite well, Im sure he mentioned somewhere near Newbury once. Not everywhere accepts coach parties last minute, be good to call in advance so they are prepaired i guess....(sorry im sure ya thought of that doh lol) -
Looking at some of the weather sites looks like the snow is due in the South East by 6am I think... http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ukweather/warnings.shtml One site reckoned it could be the heaviest snowfall for ten years, get the snow chains out!!! I'm looking forward to it coz i wanna have sum fun in my 4x4 he he:p

Lol Dave..yeah im guilty of that:p Mine was yellow i got it second hand for my Birthday....I blinged it up too had about six rear lights till i realised i couldn't afford the batteries. Its not something im proud of! My mates from then always remind me of it when they want to embaress me (that and a few other things;) ) I remember the brakes being too good and always sliding forward and landing my nuts on the gear shift...it was then i realised i wasn't going to grow up normal:p

Yep I went there years ago...we actually went there to be abused it was part of the appeal:p Another thing that could be done is advertise his club in a gay magazine with a ficticious gay night 'Rubber and leather night' ha ha..and let them all in and close the door and fuck off leaving the owner at their disposal:d

I had similar problems with The Origin Blue I (the previous one) met the stuck up twats that ran the company in Fulham and they were rude and unhelpful, I battled to get my money back they said same thing eventually it has issues with Toyota Supras lol...i then managed to steer a few customers away whilst visiting their stand at the Motor Show lol..told em it was shit lol. I then bought a Snooper worked fine lol. Matt Harwood is best person to ask on here maybe drop him a pm or could visit him hes v resonable and knows his stuff and Supras. I had issues with Bluetooth in my Supra no headset i bought would work once i was above 30mph it would sound like i was in a fishtank...car electronics are strange things..its frustrating...sounds like the gryroscope sensor is not working right (Matt Harwood has all the answers) -
Happy Birthday better late than never hope you had a great evening dude. Si

Someone won the £17m+ but not anyone from the UK as per usual. However £7.5m rollover on the main draw tonight and £66m for next Fridays Euro...but you have to live in Newcastle, Hull or France to win it..or somewhere where they want to put some money into the local economy (just my warped theory lol) http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/p/home/home.do

i woke up half an hour ago lol

Slime in a can, Rubiks Cube. Computer Battleship (not really a computer as such) Simon that stupid game where you had to copy a sequence of noises and press the lit parts of a stupid saucer type thing till you got really really bored Weebles (wobble but they dont fall down) actually someone whos a member on here that reminds me of them ha ha (not saying lol) Calculator digital watches...all the geeky boys had em at school, the cool dudes like me had ones with games on or a really annoying alarm that resulted in having it confiscated. CB radios, where council houses grew antennas, had to have one taller than ya neighbours one (early answer to internety chat room where you would chat up some girl who sounded really nice...and shed end up being really ugly with thick glasses, a brace and bad b.o. Talking of Fat Birds what happened to 'Busby' from the GPO/BT Commercials. Yellow GPO 'Commer vans' Trimphones, the early ones had dials (great for old people who suffered from arthritus) then they put buttons on them, you couldn't use phones that were not approved by GPO Telecommunications, so basically only GPO phones were an option. pleep pleep All this is before my time as those who have met me would know;)

Plenty of good moments userlly on the continent... After buying back my old black UK spec years ago I took it to Spain to stay at an ex work colleagues Villa. I left Malaga at about 12pm on me own, just me n my black Supra, tinted glass (stealth) it was November, the air was cool. I drove through the night to catch the ferry at Bilbao which boards about 10am (following morning)...so wasn't in a great hurry on this 600 mile journey. As i reached the Mountains in Northern Spain I thought id stop to stock up on Rough Spanish fags and engine oil flavoured coffee...(no wonder they all have gravelly voices) The attitude of the staff in Spanish Motorway cafes is hilarious, their facial expressions look like they have been set in concrete, no matter how polite or funny you are, they aint gonna smile...they just grunt and literally throw the change at you. I left for the last leg, across the mountains on beautifully tarmaced expressways, theres something very cowboy, very Wild West about that route, you just feel that if ya break down you are going to end up as a big chunk of Pahma ham hanging above the counter at the next service area, in front of a chain smoking Spanish Kris Kristoffesen. (Good job i was driving a Toyota..plus id practise the drill of changing the tyre if i needed to and had got it down to a good time) The solitude of being in a Supra on open roads with no trafffic and no-one to talk to at night, is just something i'll never forget, Supra was my only mate on that journey and we got to know each other very well. When i fired her up after yet another cup of Engine oil Coffee (they get rougher the further North you go) there was an odd noise from the rear..it was the antenna, it had iced up, and the rear spoiler had a thick layer of ice across it, the air was so clean though and it just felt fresh rather than cold, the car was kind of very clean too, no dead flies this time of year! I just remember being sat in the Supra Cockpit ready to take off, turbos ready to take deep breaths of cold air, a virgin stretch of seemingly endless tarmac ahead. I pondured on the fact that i was about to spend a further couple of days on a cruise ferry with nice food and cheap booze, a nice luxury cabin with a sea view and English speaking people... There is still a room in my heart that accomodates that moment, sat there plenty of time, not a worry in the world, a long stretch of virgin road ahead in a Super fast exciting car...magic moments aye!!!! he he (plenty of other great times too in Supras) There is something very heartwarming about 'going somewhere' in a Supra Sorry i do rattle on ha ha...

Cleaning up, editing some more car shots in, sound mastering then we are ready to roll.... Not sure whos dealing with the orders, Pig? Paul E? will keep ya posted but nothing stopping you if they are ready... I didn't want to take orders till i was sure it was ready...now it virtually is. Thanks for your support and 'extreme patience' i know i failed in being able to get everyone and everyones car in (though im doing my best with a couple of clean up days), so no obligation obviously..next time it will be filmed in a different way with a little more preperation..please forgive me if its more like an episode of 'World In Action' lol..next one will be better and cheaper...got my eyes on a few extra bits Fig Rig (stabilizing unit) and wide angle lenses and more filters when i do the next video. All a learning process..but will go for a different style next time and will discuss more with you before shooting. but i feel there is a story in the current one. Si

Oh my God 'Pacifics' are so last century:limp: (and so is this thread he he.) Been there done that....When i had mine I bought them via R-Tec, when I found out i had probs with them i just went back to R-Tec, and they replaced em (that was after driving on them for several thousand miles... So moral of that story is dont deal with Wheel Mania direct! The other thing is that stock alloys on a Supra undergo rigourous expensive road testing and extreme qaulity control, where as aftermarket alloys dont!!!!!! Which is why Insurance companies like to know if your car is wearing aftermarket wheels, coz they know how pethetic some of them are!

Happy Birthday..Steve R, Matt B, Edd T, Lewis, Matt H, (takes a breather) and SupraAyf.. Dont worry 34 is young still (you only get older when you get rid of ya Supra ) Si
