This is not a what is best between TT and na-t thread but just out of interest how many people are running the whifbitz na-t kit on here I tried the search but not much came up (sorry if it was due to bad search wording) its just I was considering the kit due low mileage engine (under 50k) and due to not having to hunt a 2jzgte engine even though I am sure kerron could sort that out easy enough though. Over the last few weeks I have spent countless hours looking at all this stuff and I agree with everyone's advice about it being A) one time only buying B) Right 1st time. Also I have found only a few kits worth thinking about which seam to be Whifbitzs, mvp and I think it was a Daveh or something like that from boostwerx. Like many I will probably go NA- TT rather than sell my car and buy a TT or turbo kit as I am somewhat attached and do not care about resale value as I have no intention to ever sell but would like people's view's on these kit's after they have had them on for a while and not a bunch of overexcited people who think they are the best thing since sliced bread and have had them for a few weeks nothing wrong with that mind as I love new stuff as well.

Yeah I thought seeing as it is saturday to give the guy a break. I didn't realise that you didn't need gaskets anywhere from fitting both decats all the way up to joining the manifold at all.

Cheers guys I use here as my checking system now plus I didn't want to email paul back and forth as 1) I assume he is a busy man 2) I don't want him to associate my email address with some total noob twat and 3) I would prefer it if he had more time for the Na manifold production!

Prob a noob question but I am going to decat my Na supra using the whifbitzs 1st and 2nd decat pipe and I asked them about gaskets and how many etc but they replied saying Hi graham, You don’t have to use gaskets, exhaust sealant works just as good. I can supply some high temp sealant for £9 for a tube if you like. I just thought I would ask you guys as my mate (mechanic) who is fitting it thinks they do need gaskets etc as he says it will last longer than just sealant on its own. Any info you guys can give me would be great as he has not seen any pics of the decat kit and I am not the best explaining it to my mate either but would like to get the order sorted and paid for.

If you use autobahn88.com then go to there uk site it adds in a autobahn88-performance.co.uk and there is even some cheeky fu**er using autobahn88.co.uk. How many people want to rip off one site is amazing to me to be honest. Unless I find out sat I don't need another manifold or nic pm's me saying he will send another batch I will be msg nic and getting his modded obx off of him although I wonder if I should use it or frame it???

I am impatient as if I want something I don't care how far I have to travel I want it NOW! I need to grow up somewhen.

I try not to worry about price too much but just experience is what lets me down as some say autobahn88 stuff was not bad then some say avoid at all costs... sighhhhhhhhh. Surprised the whifbitzs one is not about yet which is a shame as I imagine that will be that section of the market cornered pretty much in one go along with the nics manifolds when they pop up seam to be sought after.

I heard autobahn88 were some to be wary of as stuff takes ages to turn up and again needs modding to fit?

Nice 1 cheers neil my mate is having a look at mine Saturday morning so depending if the hole on the manifold is more than the tiny one I saw the other day I will pm you and take that one off your hands as I cannot be bothered to find and mod one for my Rhd and would prefer to get one of someone on here that's made one fit well that works. Will it fit straight into the stock 2nd cat or will it be best to get a 2nd decat pipe in your opinion?

Cheers Neil I saw a few youtube videos with them in and I know what you mean about the sound plus I have a kakimoto cat back exhaust no silencer so it is bloody loud atm anyway so god knows what it will be like with that manifold as well. Have you had that manifold fitted for a Rhd car then as my friendly mate will not be so friendly when I surprise him from a weld up job to a can of worms. I am amazed at the lack of replacement parts for the Na that don't require beating with a hammer/modding and have more respect for everyone that has been down the costly time consuming road of trial and error. Apologies to Gaz6002 newbie by name newbie by nature.

was this due to it being Rhd that it was an arse to fit?I think I saw the kit you must of got then just seams strange to get a manifold and 2nd decat not the first. Did you have to buy new o2 sensors that screw?

Has anyone used the obx exhaust manifolds and/or got any opinion on them at all?

Nice one I was not sure how universal they are as a mate had some kicking about but was not sure about fitment

I am still bitter about missing yesterdays sale lol. I am going to go and take the cover off from mine and check that is what needs replacing as when I tries to have a look last night (in the dark) it seamed that it was mainly from round the gasket although my friend thinks it is unlikely. Are the standard stock manifold to cat gasket 3" as I will order one right now seeing as they are cheap and it may mean I have a car again on saturday

Yeah I think he may of as well. Never hurts to ask tho plus I mainly wanted to get one from him as the mvp one apparently can be a pain in the arse to fit in a Rhd.

Earlier on today Neil-Na sold one of nic's steel Na manifolds and I need a new one atm as well. I have pm nic to see if he is able to still get these and thought I would see who else would consider buying one if it is possible to get them as if I remember right he only sold them in group buys.

Yeah that's what worried me as well plus I heard something about the fitting problems for the manifolds with rhd na's and the o2 sensors being screwed in instead of being a flange (I am probably wrong tho) better msg mvp to make sure they fit rhd to be on the safe side. Missed out on a manifold being sold today that was one of nic's that would of been a good solution to my problem as I was tempted to decat my na so rather than weld up the manifold and buy separate decats I may as well bite the bullet and get a manifold that gets rid of the 1st cat anyway.
