  1. OMG. .I wish you started this tread earlier.. lol.. I spun a big-end (on the dyno) and am in process of having my motor rebuild. Will be around £2500 but she’s in good hands. I was lucky to find a member with a crank in a very good condition for £80. It's hurting me a bit considering I only got her (my first supe) in October and had to replace a crank seal. I’m looking forward to the cheapest repair after this - refilling screen wash with water

  3. Who from SE will be going to the London Motor Museum on Sunday 29th January? Will there be a convoy from lets say Bluewater?
  4. If I have her back from Dude then I will be there.. Spun a bigend so busy rebuilding the motor..
  5. Lol.. Thanks Abz.. I though it was the inlaws checking up or border control looking for me..
  6. Is that a cop car in the back ground? Sorry I missed you all last night but she's still in the workshop.
  7. Yes, dude is working on it.. I managed to track down a crankshaft from a fellow member for £80 so I'm halfway there..

  10. I'm urgently looking for a crankshaft as I have possibly spun a big end so will need to replace crank.. Hope you can help..
  11. Hi matey.. Do you still have the crankshaft??
  12. I know.. Im gutted.. They are very clued up matey.. They are AFR Austec tunning and have a couple of supras there.. But as you said at least I would know how everything internally will be checked.
  13. Hi... I might not make the next meet.. I had my car in to sort the ecu problem (not your fault the car stalled Slippery) and think we popped the motor on the dyno.. Previous owner had it cut out at 5500 rpm.. Ecu was not wired correctly for example cam scensors werent even connected.. Luckily the guys at Austec picked up the nock before it gave way.. They are pulling the motor on Monday to see what is the damage so hopefully she will be back on her feet before the next meet.. It's going to hurt the wallet but Im just glad it didn't happen while driving.. I will update y'all next week..
  14. Excellent.. thanks fellow Sups..
  15. Mor’nin, I have a screamer pipe and wondered if it can be blocked off or is it best to remove it entirely. Do I need to replace the dump valve as well?
  16. Auto or manual?? Haha.. Remember to release the clutch slowly or the car will stall..

  20. Would i need to buy a whole new ECU or remap the current? any suggestions on a good ecu if I need to replace the existing? I had a look under the passenger dash but it looks like a standard black box.
  21. Seems I need to look into this in more detail as it's my first supra. I will def look into upgrading the ecu and injectors asap. Thanks for the advise folks..
