Oops.......big thump and lost drive .........playing with RS8 on A11.....come off of roundabout side by side....gave it a footfull and thump....no drive.Auto tiptronic and when put in drive... prop not turning....therefore it must be front end transmission (I think).....do you think most likely gearbox failure or torque converter failure.....I know either means dropping the gearbox out, but TC may be much cheaper..........any ideas......suicidal at the moment....thanks.

Kat will call me tomorrow to say thursday or friday afternoon............if okay with you I will come up early so you can see them, if you like them you can pay me the 50 and I'll make arrangements to leave them at SRI and you can collect either fri or sat morning..........apart from fitting them for you I cant do anymore....lol

just a thought...Sri in norwich are fitting new wheels either tomorrow or friday afternoon.....you could pick up from there...if that helps......and I dont have to tie them on roof...lol

[ATTACH=CONFIG]135541[/ATTACH]...................I have new wheels going on car within the next two days............if anyone interested in these Momo wheels please let me know...18"........tyres are not good with inside wear, and drivers side rear nailed ....although shod 265 x 35 rear rims are 8" I believe......fronts clear brembo calipers...tbh could do with a nice refurb....if anyone wants them please make offer.........tyres no charge..lol

Hi.....has anyone had a clear rocker cover fitted, seen them advertised.....thought it might be interesting seeing cam belt and pulleys if in fact thats what it allows you to do....or are these mickey mouse and useless...........just need some info...thanks
