  2. I don't envy you at all Rob, it must be a killer for any owner seeing your Supe go to another home......... But on the flip side, once you get your single there'll be no looking back Good luck with finding one, it'll be good to have another fellow singleton in my region
  3. Awesome work! My supe is black......... that is truly something to aspire to
  4. Bought myself a Turtle Head Ice microfibre drying cloth today. Just finished using it and results were much better than the conventional way of chamois leathering it down as I used to before, can't believe i've never purchased one before! Also bought some Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer too, gonna give that a bash tomorrow
  5. Excellent, thanks Paul I appreciate your help mate. I always knew Whifbitz would make the short list, Paul's reputation speaks for itself. He's 2 hours drive from me by the looks of it, but like Mikey said a good reputation is definitely worth travelling for. One thing I have found a little surprising though the more I think about it, even though I haven't been on here long I have looked through a lot of various threads already and I can't say as I've seen any reference to Fensport anywhere? They've been around for ages now and have built some monsterous cars. They're only just over an hour away from me.
  6. Near Norwich mate. Paul is Essex way isn't he? Yeah thats not too far at all mate really is it
  7. Yep, known about them for years, their reputation speaks for itself. Was just wondering who people in my region use though, just to see what options there are out there.
  8. I'm just wondering if you guys would be kind enough to let me know who you use to carry out work on your Supra's? For my region preferably I know you're probably going to say it depends on what sort of work you want done obviously. Mine's currently at a local performance tuner but he hasn't worked on many Supra's in the past. I have asked him to fit an electronic boost controller and set it up and change the cambelt too. Whilst he's had the car and it's been up on his lift he's found that a previous owner has bodged in some sort of random cat, i guess to get it through an MOT? , and the screamer pipe off the external wastegate is exiting directly above some bushes? so need repostioning. All in all he has advised me to take it to someone who knows Supra's inside out (he said Fensport, which I obviously know who/where they are) to get these jobs done and also set the boost controller up with it's Hi and Lo settings and generally check the mapping etc. Any suggestions please guys? Thanks
  9. Loving the pics mate. As random as it may sound to some people I just love how much difference a number plate can make! You guys having a white plate on the rear (against a black car) is just the icing on the cake for me. Top Banana mate
  10. Yep, Paul Whiffin stocks them. Bought a set a few weeks ago, cheap as chips, and now squeak 'n' creak free!!!!
  11. Use the old faithfull Paul, the search button That's what I've done recently to help me decide what wheels I'm getting. Either "Rota Wheels" or the thread titled "one shot of your supra that looks amazing", whack either of those in the search engine. Lots of nice Supra's with a whole variety of nice wheels mate.......
  12. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...... thats proper funny, love it guys
  13. One of these maybe? http://www.toprpm.com/eng/videos.htm
  14. Depends on how important the cover is going to be to you I guess. My decision was circumstantial as I had just bought my Supra literally days prior to the -10 temps and the snow hitting so had to act quickly, funds were pretty low so I opted for the paupers version, the Voyager. Anyone can go to Halfrauds and grab a cover for 50p but it wont fit right and will last a year, if you're lucky! Considering it was quite a while after Jamesy originally set up the group buy by the time I went to buy mine the service was great. I quoted the reference instructed by Jamesy to obtain the discount and they didnt grumble once, and it was delivered quickly too! I can definitely recommend the Voyager and I'm sure that anyone who owns the Stormforce will be the same, as long as you dont have any enormous bumpers or spoilers?
  15. Totally agree. I had a stage 3 S13 before I got my Supra, I stripped it right down inside so it was pretty light and that was very rapid for what it was. Just being so light it was extremely tail happy so it kept me on my toes! I got my Supra just before Christmas (just before the snow and ice hit) so didn't drive it that much. Been driving it a lot more recently though and it hasn't scared me yet though, but that may be due to the fact i've left the boost at 0.7bar to ease myself in, the lag on the T70 is enough to drive it safely on wet roads too lol...... could be different when I wind the boost up to 1.2-1.3 bar though?!
  16. APT in Lenwade on the outskirts of Norwich boasts an impressive rolling road nowadays, proper apparently. Haven't been there for a while since the days of my stage 3 S13 that i used to have, but know Gary provides a top quality service. He has had his Evo in the Time Attack series for a while now, running big BHP.....
  17. Exactly what it says on the tin ...... after an electronic boost controller complete
  18. Preferably dry weekends for me...... although driving a 1.1 Fiesta to work monday to friday I'm normally itching to get into it
  19. Yeah thanks Lude it looks like I'm gonna end up with Rota's of some description, which isn't a problem as there are 3 or 4 designs that I like. I've been looking in the for sale section everyday for a while now, guess it just comes down to patience at the end of the day?! Sod's law I'll buy some and then a really nice set will turn up for sale! Either way I'm not in no hurry as this time of the year I'm not actually driving it that much so it doesn't frustrate me as much. By the time we get into spring some 2nd hand ones may have turned up?
  20. I was at modified live again this year, Paul's Supra is brutal. I see that one of your friends is Staples..... that isn't Stuart Staples by any chance is it?
