  1. Yeah I think you're right Phil. Whilst trawling for hours through a shed load of threads on gearboxes and the oil used in them, I did see that written in a couple of them.
  2. Top banana! Just gave my local Toyota dealership a tinkle and you CAN still get hold of Type IV..... All ordered up, will arrive in a couple of days
  3. Thanks very much for the help guys. Yeah, after trawling through loads of threads the last week or so using the search function i found that Toyota Type IV was said to be the 'only' one you 'should' use. However, please correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm sure i saw written in a recent-ish thread that you can no longer get hold of Toyota Type IV ? If you can still get it then I will buy it. Obviously Tim from Opie Oils knows what he's on about and you just backed up what he told me Gareth, those 4 choices he gave me are supposedly meeting the type IV specs. I was just wondering if at all there was any preference from fellow members out of that choice of 4 ?
  4. Hey Guys, Just a quick one I'm looking for a bit more guidance on please. I have J Spec Auto Supra which has had a single turbo conversion done and I'm just working my way through a list of to do's to get it where I want it to be (running safely is the main priority of course) I'm about to order a load of fluids etc for a service but am unsure what auto transmission oil to get. Tim from Opie Oils has given me a choice of four - Amsoil ATF, Motul Multi ATF, Fuchs ATF4400 and Millers Millermatic ATF SPIII What do you guys recommend I should get please? Thanks
  5. What width/offsets are the wheels? Did you have to roll your arches?
  6. N Reg silver Supe with black wheels with polished lip coming through Dereham past Halfrauds about 4:00pm this afternoon.

  8. Me too! I'd love to have my Supra over in Portugal. It's nice to see pics and footage of a Supra in another country that has beautiful surroundings, my girlfriend is from Portugal, whenever we go over to visit her family or for a holiday and often imagine drivin my Supra whilst I'm there.
  9. Looks so nice, especially cos its a black car too. Every time i see a member do this to their car it makes me wanna get mine done even more...... i must get mine done asap! Great work!
  10. Changing the boot rubbers is the first thing i did to my Supra when i bought it. Had sooo many creaks and squeaks, but every single one disappeared when i changed them. Cheap as chips too, not a mod, just replacement items from Paul @ Whifbitz, check out the website dude.......
  11. I had a situation a couple of months ago where one of my battery clamps was not holding tight and would just creep off slightly whilst I was driving along going over bumps in the road, causing some of the dash lights to flicker and my alarm to suddenly go off! Happened a few times before I actually twigged where the problem lied (was looking far deeper for a problem which turned out to be right under my nose?!) and every time i re-started the car again it didn't want to start very well let alone idle. But once it would start i just carried on driving it back home, nice and steady, and by the time i was home it was fine again...... the ECU had re-taught itself again i guess? Replaced the battery clamps for new ones and i've never had an idling problem since
  12. I can vouch for this too. I'd tried pretty much everything suggested on here, including toothpaste, and G3 is the way forwards by a mile!! Other than buying glass units of course, which is in the pipeline
  13. I haven't had any bodyshop work done myself for ages now, but I did take one of my previous cars to Dereham Resprays. Was chuffed with the standard of work they churned out but can't say if they are still up to scratch nowadays or not. I know quite a few people who have used Breckland Bodytech where I live in Attleborough, he's not a huge outfit in the slightest but apparently he does a hell of a job.
  14. At the moment yes Swampy, pending a reply to the pm i just sent to CJE001 regarding taking the whole lot. I'll keep you informed mate if you like?
  15. Got mine from Paul @Whifbitz a couple of months ago. Cheap as chips, b@astard to change (well mine were) but now squeak 'n' creak free
  16. I have an amp for sale thats designed for subs........ And if it's "punchy" bass you're after you should have 10" , which i also have for sale as it happens
  17. APT held a rolling road day a few weeks ago for a local club I'm a member of called Bigpower.co.uk, respectable turn out and number of people willing to pay the 40 squid to run. I took mine to APT to have the cambelt changed and boost controller fitted, only cos i know him fairly well and know i can trust him. I wouldn't trust Clive Atthowe, nor would i trust SCA unless they have changed, i haven't been to them in years! I remember going there and being served by Gary (owner of APT), thats where he started out
  18. Cheers Kachun, also glad they found you safely. I do still have two amps, I've edited the listing as and when items have sold, have one of the JBL amps and the Caliber amp left mate.
  19. No probs mate. Glad they arrived safely
