  1. i bought a box off Matt Harwood, it is the only one i have seen or heard of, it works from the original switch, can be left in auto mode or used manually at any speed, it has propper toyota loom plugs on it and just plugs in line behind the dash. i took it to trl to get it coppied as there was so much interest but they still have not managed to copy it yet mine may be up for sale soon as i have a bomex on the way

  3. i have the 12v mod and as far as i know it keeps the pump running at 12v all the time (when the engine is running)

  5. a bit lower down the pillar than the roof, there will be some on the sill to unless you have skirts on and they have bodged it quick
  6. filler is used to blend the new pannel in to the old one at the top of the c pillar
  7. i had to do the water leaks when i was at ford, as CW says horible job, not up to you to put it right though mate, take it back to them and let them find the leak, i would guess at quarter light or seam sealer, that chalk dust is filler dust that they should have cleaned up edit: dude you beat me to it
  8. garage who did the work will have to pay for it, tell them you are going to make a formal complaint to the insurance company unless they solve the matter quickly they will then have to request funds from your insurance (nothing to do with you) who will probably tell them to bugger off

  10. well i only needed a little drop and it was on a sunday and ok i admit it i went to halfords they sell it in 1 lt tubs and it is toyota specific,
  11. just need to top any lost fluid back up with the correct fluid, then turn the steering wheel from lock to lock with the engine running untill all unusual noises stop. really easy to do
  12. take all the pipes and the electrical connection off the top, undo the large jubilee clip that goes around the top, then twist the big plastic lid off, its a right PITA to do. i had to use a screw driver and a hammer on mine to bang it round

  14. i never thought of painting that ! go away Mark oh go on then how does it come off looking around for my hard pipes, i think im going to get them from Totally Custom, or i may get them with an IC
  15. cost me £120 for turbo heat sheild power steering tank radiator clamps battery clamps rear latches it was a friend of a friend who said they would do it for a drink, hmm expensive drink but the work is 110% so im not complianing what is a lower cam cover
  16. that wasnt actually mine it was another persons off this bbs, he asked me to do some work on it, it was in the pic as thats the only one i have of the bits, i was waiting for somebody to bring that up Paul E i am looking for more bling to finish it off. if you look for all the stuff i need off you and pm me your price ill have a think about it, need batt/fuse covers, induction pipes, PS/brake fluid caps and anything you think i should have

  19. thanks for the comments i did all the polishing and painting myself, all i had to pay for is the chrome and that cost me £120 as for the paint fading i did it in hi-solid laquer, it wont fade or peal the shiney stuff will take some looking after tho
  20. been a busy boy at the weeknd, almost finished thought id post some pics up took a few bits off add some bits, this isnt all of em ! looks better ? still got to get IC hard pipes and the inlet polished
  21. i have almost the same set-up but i dont have a FMIC, i also have a blitz access ecu and i think it is designed to run higher than 100 ron as it is for the jap market. i do have a walbro pump tho and i use optimax/ultimate. when i had mine tested i did have some det but nothing as bad as what you are saying.
