  1. Brave man Scott, I normally stick with the Madras. If they're too hot surely you don't actually taste anything! Unless it's that burning sensation that people like.. gotta love the donkey
  2. i'm currently on season 5 of House so i'd recommend that. Dexter is another good one but a few people have already mentioned it. How I met your mother? Big Bang Theory? LOST (painful subject for a few people)? SiFi wise, bit old but still good Stargate SG1.. Heros?
  3. Welcome to the club, good looking car, don't see many of them around!
  4. ok feel like an idiot now! - Let me check my money situation and i'll get back to you mate.
  5. Hey Chris how much for clutch? How much house power can it withstand, up to 400bhp?
  6. Welcome to the club! Good to see some pics and I'll await your project tread!
  7. I'm 24 and I paid last year £800ish all mods declared and 4 YNCB. Hopefully coming in lower this year. My advice go speak to Sky insurance, you get club member discount (assuming you pay the £10) and they are pretty competitive. Also Admiral do a policy were you pay for 12months but it's only a 10 month policy, that way you build the NCB quickly. I'm hoping to go N/A-T or go straight to TT. I'm married so I stick the mrs on the insurance and that helps also.
  8. Welcome to club, pretty much what the guys have said already, take a look at the buyers guide, helped me with my purchase! I couldn't stop laughing at this comment!
  9. My boot won't stay open and I've got the stock spoiler so it's not a weight issue! If anyone has 2 available let me know Thanks.
  10. Hi mate, welcome. There are a few topics on this very subject on this forum, along with a guide on various models and how to confirm the model. You can pick up an N/A for around £4,000 either manual or auto. If you're thinking TT then more realistically £10,000+. There is a section on this site for selling supra's so I'd take a look there. However, I'm not 100% sure if you need to be a paid member to see it. Hope that helps.
  11. That's a good idea (the idea of a kit that can be taken off so you can sell), unfortunately or fortunately, im not likely to sell any time soon. I'll take a look at your project. For some reason the link is dead on my iPhone...
  12. Blimey so there are a lot of other things I need to factor in. OK that's good to know..might best to make a shopping list and tot it up to get a realistic price. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=51.800693,-0.805739
  13. OK thanks for clearing that up. I'd think 400 would be fine for now tbh. Did you upgrade your brakes? Mine are the standard jspec discs and calipers. I've sent Paul a PM so will see what he comes back with...
  14. hmmm, ok guys thanks for the replies. i'll give Paul a holla and see about prices, I have a mate that should be able to do the fitting (though i'll have to confirm first!). Just to confirm Fosta, if I wanted to say go for 450bhp, I'd need a different engine, preferably a TT?
  15. Hey guys. I realise this might be a bit of a stupid question, but just wondered for those that have taken the plunge, how much did the conversion cost? this would including fitting. For an example i'm going off a stock N/A and going for 400bhp mark. Who would you recommend speaking to from your experience? Been reading up on people's project work and checking out other topics but not really found an average price. I assume it's best to speak to someone about it.. My budget would be 4-5k, but i don't know if that's not enough or average, or in fact a decent amount and would get a half decent setup.
  16. I would love too, honestly! But need to have a "familyish" car. Got a 2 year old so need something with at least 5 doors
