  4. Nope, i kicked the tyre and said "uhh yeah its okay"
  5. Woo Hoo checked the warning lights for dry joints and guess what we found.... Anyway once that was sorted we managed to get the code of the engine warning light Turns out it was code 12, crank shaft sensor, new one goin in tomorrow (just hoping the timing belt hasnt damaged) Cheers guys for all your help, i love this club
  6. That would be ace, how quickly can you get there? Im getting the car taken to whiftbitz this afternoon hopefully, il PM you my mobile. And no im not a mechanic so i dont know a great deal thats why i put the question up, if i knew what was doin i wouldnt put this thread up. I am checking everything that has been replyed to so far so many thanks guys. Im just still trying to work aswell at the moment so cant give it my full attention

Car is at a local Garage in Bow have all equipment available to me to do pretty much anything, my friend that owns the garage usually only works on mecs, BM's etc so he hasnt got a clue with my car, Checking the ignitor later on this afternoon when i go And yes i have full power on the inside, the only light that dosnt want to work is the engine warning light
  8. hmmm, where exactly am i looking for this? going to the garage in about an hour, once ive finished some work
  9. Yes it is a fully built engine. My first thought was a the Turbo hose had blown off (made that sort of pop) Yes i did have to get my car recovered, its now in east London (anyone know any specialists around here?) Fuels delivery is good, cam belts good, still need to check the plugs Yesterday i also discovered that theres no electric going to the ECU when i try to turn it over (checked every fuse). I am completely baffled, il check the sparks this afternoon and if its not them thats my compacity of car fixing finished
  10. Was cruising along the M11 today, popped her 5th put my foot down a tiny bit, hit 8000 revs and then..... POP! Now she wont start. The ignition works but she wont catch. Ive checked everything! Been under the bonnet now for 7 hours straight, the worst thing is the engine warning light is not coming on so she cant tell me whats wrong with her. Anyone who has any idea please please let me know Elliott
  11. Dates on my leave have changed yet again! will now be home on tthe 4th of August! WOO HOO!!

  13. Whats the latest i will be able to put my name forward?? Im starting a new contract end of this month (i work in iraq) So hopefully i should have my leave dates come mid august and can hopefully try and get this time off Cheers Elliott
  14. Just to let you know i can get full access to bottesford airfield for a day if anyones up for it? Its completely unusused. 1.3 miles long and still in good condition. Let me know and il speak to my friend about getting on Elliott
