  1. Looks good, but having a problem staying logged on, seems im having to sign back in after reading threads
  2. Quite right, i did,nt even look at the pictures just read description
  3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Supra-W58-Gearbox-/150514083451?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item230b56a67b#ht_768wt_600
  4. on a serious note they do seem to suffer as scotty 71 says, so would be worth checking, i take mine apart & give it a good blow out with compressed air.
  5. try sitting in the fridge with it
  6. looks like this between ignition & mirror swtch
  7. im turning mine off till ive checked my house insurance
  8. OMG didnt think of any of that
  9. scared the S%$T out of me when it 1st did it, but it is my favourite laptop i got 4 others but only ever use this one, its got a remote control so i can turn it off/on without even going to it, its actually as good as my desk top pc if not better
  10. They do but i think they overlooked that part, i can leave mine running for 2-3 days no problem, but if i do a restart when its hot it just goes pop
  11. probably best to get the whole unit, come up frequently on Ebay, sometimes on this forum, depends on cost of postage & if people are willing/ able to send to you. Do you have any Supra forums in Australia, you could post in the wanted forum, &see what turns up
  12. I have a HP DV2000 laptop, they do overheat quickly when been running a while then you do a restart, mine usually just cuts out just before windows starts, have to leave it for 10mins or so then its fine
  13. check it out, if its too long just use it until you can get another 1.
  14. the W58 is a good strong box & is used quite a lot in kit cars, they even use them in Rover v8's producing 350+ bhp, some kit car builders even prefer them over the V160 especially the later W58 with the steel sandwich plate.Think Lotus even use it now as do some Cobra builders
  15. welcome nothing wrong with a N/A, fit a turbo later
  16. yep Meguiars NXT Generation, top stuff
  17. Not sure there is, never tried it, but they are quite easy to take apart, maybe you can measure the new one up to the old to confirm its just too long.I remember someone selling them on Ebay saying they were replacements for The Supra but he stated in his description that they dont go fully down
  18. not sure you can cut them down to fit, when you buy the mast only it has to be the right one for the Supra, not a Toyota multi fit, ie if you buy one for a Celica it will protrude around 3-4"
  19. did you just buy a replacement mast? if so it just maybe too long to fit into your existing motor,& therefore wont close fully
  20. if you are expecting the worst & thinking of replacing the engine why dont you just take the head off, im sure if you got that much water in the bore its going to be pretty evident what the cause is
  21. you got nothing to lose taking it to a garage, get a leak down test done which can pinpoint whats wrong
  22. Yes it may well of done its gone up quite high, with a crack or blown gasket it usually goes down. If you can get it to a garage they may be able to do a more conclusive test, but either way its off with the head,
