  1. I too am slightly apprehensive about driving my new Supra in the snow. We had some torrential rain the other night and driving back from a mates house the back end was more than a little twitchy at anything other than featherlight throttle. I put it in the dreaded "snow" mode and that cured all problems up until around 80% throttle, although it did mean the Supra was slower than my old old 1.4 Corolla. Decided to floor it in "snow" mode and the back end really tried to get away from me. So overall I'm apprehensive about the upcoming winter months and feel that getting the Supra around is going to be a case of very careful throttle response, and no boost!
  2. Thanks for all the praise, loving her so much still! I'll try and take some engine bay pics and put them up soon.
  3. Finally managed to take some pics of my new baby this afternoon out at Derwent Dam. Gave her a wash this morning, but managed to get a little dirt on her on the drive out. Keep loving this car more every day and think she looks incredible. Anyway here's some of the pics from earlier. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs104.ash2/38542_10150219025760725_886235724_14014367_2772345_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs224.snc4/38542_10150219025765725_886235724_14014368_258352_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs104.ash2/38542_10150219025800725_886235724_14014375_5755669_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs204.snc4/38542_10150219025820725_886235724_14014379_3967121_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs104.ash2/38542_10150219025770725_886235724_14014369_67921_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs104.ash2/38542_10150219025805725_886235724_14014376_6733370_n.jpg Hope you guys enjoy!
  4. My mind added an exta "h" near the end there. And I thought, yes yes it does, too nice in fact! But it does indeed look like a nice place to SIT. Lovely job you've done there, and excellent finds on the treasure side.
  5. Got myself some Meguiars Shampoo and Conditioner, Polish, Wax and Window Cleaner this morning. All in all saved around £50. Not a bad deal!
  6. Just got back home from collecting my White TT from Jurgen this morning after setting off from Sheffield station at 7:12 Just wanted to say how incredibly impressed and pleased I am with both the car and Jurgen's service! Top bloke and really friendly. I can safely say that I'll be contacting him again for my next car. I'll put pics up of her later! Cheers again Jurgen!
  7. TT Import. Up at the crack of dawn to travel from Sheffield to the North East to pick it up from Jurgen. If all goes well in 5 hours I shall be on my way back home with my Supra!
  8. Check out Jurgen's website if you're interested in getting something similar for the price. He can get the exact specification that you want and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. You can look at his current stock here: http://www.jm-imports.co.uk/forsale.html Or contact him to request something more specific.
  9. Spoke to Jason on the phone today, he was friendly and helpful and sorted me out nicely. £1579 for 23 Year old Male, 2 years NCB, 1 fault accident and 1 non-fault accident in the last 5 years. Overall I'm very happy with the competitive price (cheaper than anywhere else I could find) and the service that was given. Thanks guys!
  10. 1997 Facelift JDM Manual TT with 64,000 KM on the clock for only £10,800 imported by Jurgen at JM Imports. So lower mileage, newer and a LOT cheaper. Picking it up on friday so I'll let you know how it goes.
  11. But...but...he wants to uncover the secret shape shifting reptile race so that we can be free fro... No, wait, you're right.
  12. My dad is 70 and drives a Lexus SC430, is that ok NOS or is it just cruel and he'd be better off if I put him down, or in a nursing home?
  13. I think he meant how many of each size would you need to do the job? I.E How many packs would one need to buy? Anyone gone for something a bit different in their Supra? Any pink lit dashes?
  14. Ok, so Icke has some magical protection from SHAPE SHIFTING reptiles? I thought you would reply with something about how he isn't a big enough threat and bu killing him he would become a martyr etc... If the reptiles do indeed exist, they have been clever enough to orchestrate this entire thing, I highly doubt that they'd turn into bond villains and let Icke live until he actually started causing trouble. No, as soon as they got wind he was penning a book about shape shifting reptiles that rule the world his house would have burned down with him inside it. The shape shifting reptiles aren't going to be intelligent enough to rule the world secretly yet dumb enough to let Icke live if they existed. As such the only sane conclusion is that Icke is, for want of a better word, a nutjob. P.S How come Icke refines the concept of these shape shifting reptiles in his later books, is it becuase he has expanded the background to his story a little more, like a novelist?
  15. Since this has turned into a David Icke thread, I just want to clarify a couple of things. 1. Icke believes that a lot of powerful individuals are shape shifting reptiles that collectively rule the world? 2. Icke has published books on this matter "exposing" said shape shifting reptiles (among other things)? 3. David Icke is still alive? If all these points are true it seems highly counterintuitive that Icke's propositions are realistic in any sense of the imagination. As these shape shifting reptiles are trying to keep their identities secret, and are in fact some of the most powerful individuals in the world surely they would have Icke killed in a natural looking manner in order to cover this up well before he published any works. As such I can only conclude that it is a huge pile of dog turd.
  16. I was contemplating a VXR8 before settling on a Supra, insurace was an utter farce on one though, and of course being more than double the cost of a Supra was also a factor. But big V8 RWD car with 4 doors must be an absolute hoot. MPG doesn't look good though (something like mid teens combined in real world conditions Edit: At the end of the day, everyone thinks Audi drivers are a bunch of....erm anyways....
  17. A neighbour had his 911 Turbo stolen after riding shotgun with someone else taking it for a test drive.
  18. Most of the BOGOF products are unavailable on their web store too. So basically they've realised they've run out of cleaning products and decided to do a "Special Offer" on them before they restock in order to get a quick boost in image.
  19. How about one of the following: Mk I or Mk II MR2 Turbo E36 M3 IS200 260z (Unsure how much these go for) Mk I Celica (Unsure of how much these go for) R33 GTS R34 GTT
  20. Thanks, received mine today too!
