  1. I stand corrected. 35 years of getting it wrong 'cos nobody ever enlightened me. Sorry guys :-(
  2. Wrong. Ignore the zero, those divisions are 200 rpm each, reading is more like 300
  3. Have a other look at the picture, that rev counter doesn't show 650
  4. Have another look at the picture my friend, way too low!
  5. Thinking of replacing mine. Hope you don't mind me asking, what's the best deal you've found for these?
  6. I had a full stainless system, custom made, lifetime warranty from MIJ near Birmingham. Great service and they can make whatever you want :-)
  7. So let me get this straight. If my j spec facelift has 9006j bulbs as standard then the 9005 HB3 is the correct replacement, I need to modify the three tags and file off the ridge in the connector. The reversed polarity of the wiring supplied is a seperate issue.
  8. I'd be mad as hell if the damage wasn't mentioned when you bought them. I'm sure they could be made to fit (the sill guard might hide it) but that's not the point is it, oem skirts aren't cheap!
  9. Wow! How much and how long did they take?

How easy is it to remove the side pods without damaging them?

    Kosei RG'S

I have Kosei wheels and bought some from Priracing. Sorry I can't put the link in on my phone :-)

    nice cheap mod

What a good idea. I was just looking at the ducts on my silver soop, thinking how grubby they get. Definitely going for that look :-)
  13. Calm down my friend, I'm not questioning anyone's knowledge or experience. I'm in awe of the breadth and depth of knowledge and experience amongst our members. I've made good use of it on many occasions. All I meant was that when there are choices available, it's just nice to know that someone has actually used those plugs and not found any issues
  14. I've never seen your car in the flesh, but it always looks amazing in pictures. Congratulations mate, I'll be looking out for the mag.
  15. Yeah did that. Like I said already, recommendations aren't the same as practical experience.
  16. Nice one mate, that's the answer we wanted! I've been putting off doing mine because of the throttle body, but getting the iridium ones means it'll be a job that I'll probably only eveer do once
  17. Recommendations are great but it doesn't really answer his question
  18. Something I quite fancy too! Where have you been getting quotes?
  19. Bought my Supra for my 50th birthday and just laugh at the jealous cliches
  20. Love this thread mate, you've got a real eye for what works! One of the best looking cars on the forum in my opinion How easy was it sorting the footwell neons?

    First Supra

I've always loved my cars (goes without saying), my first car was a 1.3 Ford Escort that I modded to death! I've had a 1994 Celica GT for 7 years, my daily drive. I bought the Supra for my 50th birthday (stuff the sad buggers who say "...midlife crisis...") my brothers and my mates are all well jealous 'cos their wives/girlfriends want a new sofa/carpet/curtains etc (BIG appologese lady petrol heads!). The Supra is a beautiful example of design excellence and engineering supremacy (sorry if that sounds a bit arty), made to be appreciated! When I meet Saint Peter at the pearly gates I kinda think he'll be more interested in what cars I've driven than what sofa I sat on! "Shall we go to DFS?" naaaah, goin' for a drive
