  1. bought this recently but its too small for my liking. it is a burnt/titanium finish and is very light. has a 5 speed pattern engraved into it. sorry for the poor pics, can get more on request. £15 posted
  2. You should try loading these up on a iPhone.... I think I might have just died a little bit by waiting so long! How much areyou after for them mate?
  3. I might be interested if you can give me a price for them delivered? Do you have no tires to go with them too?
  4. hey guys, wanted some info on my n/a system. it appears i have a standard exhaust system with a blitz nur spec backbox on my 95 n/a. i can see there is a cat just off the manifold, and further down the system (roughly level with the rear seats) there is what appears to be a midbox, now i see people talking about 1st cat and 2nd cat on here... does that mean the 'midbox' is actually a cat? as i was contemplating removing it and fitting a sports midbox to amplify the sound slightly. also what is best for a n/a, the system that splits off into two before it enters the backbox or a continuous single bore? what difference does it make? louder? better economy? better performance? as my nur spec is a twin pipe back section. also what is regarded as a good system on the n/a? ive always wanted a angled hks hi power system, but as the car came with a pretty much brand new nurspec i feel a bit tetchy about changing considering how nice it sounds! but ive never been a big fan of slash cut designs!
  5. im a bit confused as to what parts you have left.. do you have any of the dash panel left?
  6. Had a look today, all sorted now. The metal insert that you screw the cap onto wasn't clipped on properly. Thanks for the input guys!
  7. Yeah, that's right it's actually comeing out of the filler neck!
  8. anyone? probably gonna have it apart tomorrow morning, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Hey guys, I need some advice, my n/a is leaking petrol from around the cap area, it only seems to happen when I throw the car about a bit down the lanes, and I get a trail of petrol down the panel below the cap cover. Keron has supplied me with a good condition cap, but it's still doing it! Just did it on me way back, I assume there's a join from the filler area to the feed pipe, is it likely to leak from there? Or is there a breather in the cap area? Any ideas?
  10. I have the same problem, mines had new arb bushes, but haven't checked the subframe bolts yet, what ft lb should the bolts be torqued to?
  11. I'm looking for a good condition fuel cap with a good seal. As mine is leaking if it makes a difference it's a j spec n/a
  12. Thanks for the nice comments, plans wise... Nothin major just tinkering really... Mainly visual changes, and interior... As she is to be a cruiser good pics there mate! I did have a go with some glo sticks, but the result was less spectacular! Gonna have to get some colour filters for my torch methiks! Blueangel, the basis is that you have the camera set up for low light (these were taken in pitch black) and set it to a long shutter speed, I used 15 seconds on these. Then run around with a torch! You could get the same effect on a normal camera by using a night use setting, but it'll probably have a pre set shutterspeed.
  13. ah, cool, im a payed up member, but all i can see in there is some very serious metal, so i wasnt sure if it was only reserved for the members on here with very deep pockets! thats all good tho, i'll set one up soon.
  14. took these tonight, just thought i would share! im kinda new around here, but is there anywhere where i can start a progress thread on my supe? or is it that reserved for the serious ones among us?
  15. Nice one. Cheers. I can't seem to view the bumpers on their site? Any ideas? Or should I email them?
  16. Wondering if anyone knows of anyone who makes replicas of this top secret front bumper? http://www.jap.com.au/supra/supra%20top%20secret%20front.jpg
  17. i had a quick look at the similar threads on this subject, but i couldnt find exactly what i was after, so sorry if this is a repost... im after some makes and part numbers (i deal with parts suppliers at work so its easier with part numbers) of some front shock absorbers that people use to replace the stock ones when theyre shagged, as i think i need some new ones sooner or later. thanks in advance!
  18. ok, thats interesting... the three n/a's i went to see before i bought mine had drivers electric seat only! well, ive got the cloth front and vinyl rears, and i'd really like a set of the beige/cream leather ones in the near future, how much should i expect to pay for a full set? also i would assume that i could just swap the runners/electrics over with my seats if the ones i get turn out to be a different setup?
  19. just wondered if you can fit a set of ukdm seats into a jdm n/a? is the wiring the same or is (as i suspect) it different? also do all mkiv's have just the drivers electric seat? if that makes sense?
  20. Cheers guys! Neil: yeah, it made quite a bit of difference to low down grunt, my only problem is that my fuel consumption was better with the his intake on bizarely!
  21. got some updated pics i took the other day: things that have changed... well the proper import plate is now on, and the rear foglight is gone (ive rewired it into one of the reversing lights) my pioneer stereo is in (finally!), new speakers all round as the original toyota ones were shagged, new greddy grex gearknob, stock airbox now fitted, and ive been fiddling with the illumination to get rid of the horrid green... more on that when its finished! finally got round to giving it a quick polish too, but it was obviously too cold for that as it froze to the paintwork!! so this is just washed at the mo, and as you can see the paintwork is in pretty nice condition! Rich.
  22. hmm, im guessing theyre rather expensive as thats the same thing i had on my glanza v, can you clean them? how much is a new pair? it ticks over at about 700 when warm, cold start is about 16-1700
