If engine revs=3.5k and speed is 85mph, then this appears to be ok. If you think about it at engine revs=7k then speed would be doubled ie: 170mph.

The celica antenna fits (cheaper too). just remove the control box that’s attached,cos the supra has this already built into the dash. P.s. even this antenna is controlled by microprocessor!

On replacing these voltage regulators, try to get the one with TVS component which is connected to the bottom side of the regulator. On some of this is missing.

Hi I used a bicycle tyre pump with gauge to pressurise the vacuum system. I didn’t go past 12psi, as I am unsure of the max pressure what the system can take. Connect the pump to the steel pipe that is marked no 10 on the picture, then inflate to 12psi. Check the gauge to see how long it takes for the pressure to fall.

Hi Just joined, and I was wanting to know does anyone no the difference between the AW30-43LS AND AW30-43LE. I have read on wiki. the LS is higher rated but don’t know how this is accomplished. Regards G Smith

Just use a manual radiator and fit a separate cooler. I did this years ago without any transmission problems

Hi It use to work up to about 6 months ago then it became intermittent and finally total failure. The light works when earthing the input pin at the Ecu proving the lamp circuit is ok. I did read that the immobiliser can cause this but I can't see any connection from the immobiliser Ecu to engine Ecu on the circuit schematic.
