  1. Im interested in this, but cant collect due to size. Could be interested in the scoop and hardware depending on how much you want for it
  2. The front are a doddle to do, 4 bolts exposed when the disc is off. But the rears are such a big job. If the front are rotting the rears would be near same or worst as the back of supras tend to get more corrosion than the front underside
  3. head down the scrappers, find some matching in good nic, trim them off and rivet them some good metal left on yours, then spray em up to look ok ish. Personally id buy new, trim and slip the olds off and news on. To do it properly you mess with the hubs/bearings.
  4. 18s without dish, 19s with dish
  5. Do yourself a favour, invest in a tub of assorted copper crush washers lf ebay for a fiver, you can match 2 up and use them. They dont have to be those specific ones with the joint
  6. My the other day my neighbours autobox went pop, i asked if here ever serviced it and his reply was - The dealership told me it was sealed for life:D this time he knows his new autobox isnt sealed for life haha

    Plugs

Drill tap and die. One of the easiest and most useful skills for a 20yr old car owner to have. Plenty vids on youtube
  8. You can get them from toyota. Use cable ties at the bottom to seal them
  9. No probs, 8.3Nm on Non turbos not sure if TTs are the same. The Jag valve covers have more bolts but its the same sequence to spread the load evenly, i dont see why a zig zag wont work either
  10. Ditto, ive been considering a polished alternator or even possibly a mechman one from SRD but are quite pricey
  11. Dont use oil film on the gaskets. Oil filters use that technique as they twist on and seal. Make sure the surface is really clean, use some black rtv in the front corners where it curves. Please dont put the rtv on the gasket and then push it into the valve covers. Put the rtv on the engine itself. When torquing them down i started in the centre and used a 'spiral' pattern to spread the load evenly. Google valve cover torque sequence and youll see a jaguar one to use
  12. Does anyone have a copy of the installation diagrams or links to the installation of HKS 3 spoke adjustable cam gears? cheers, Kev
  13. You probably are mate, its 2018 now. Hidden/ stealth for ICE is the new thing, its all clean oem now
  14. Honestly, i think the glass are better against the blue, the facelifts kind of darken the front and make it abit boring
  15. Private plates are not worth it imo. If it was such a so called private plate that you paid for, then you can put any plate on any car...thats why ill never consider one
  16. Make sure and get progress picturessss
  17. Dont tell me you paid 42usd for the stream?!
