  1. Go for it, its all about adding your extra touch, its not anyone elses bumper so do it:D
  2. the wire brush wont affect the bare metal + paint finish with rough lines? did you use sand paper, shouldnt be a problem as im going for hammerite hammered silver, but id like to try my best at getting a smooth surface cheers for that info bud
  3. Hi all, ive had my callipers painted twice in hammerite black, 1st attempt wasnt great so done them again which i was happy with. Now i want to change the colour but i dont want to apply a 3rd layer, and want to strip that thick paint away. Dont know how to remove callipers so thats a no no. Any ideas on paint strippers, or would a wire brush connection for a drill do the job, want to get at those bolts at the rear to, but im not sure! Heard of people using brake fluid? wouldnt that melt all the rubbers seals away?? Kev
  4. im not feeling that, this carbon fibre craze is kinda coming to an end now...ive seen weather trims done, now this. its a little bit to much for me.
  5. I just like the look of them from the age of 11-12 knew nothing about them, rwd, 3ltrs etc, i just had to have one. After years of toy supras, plastic kits, r/c and pictures, i made a friend who had a aero supra when i went on holiday. He took me out for a drive to see 2 other supras, and from that day i just had to have one no matter what. The different styles that can be achieved took me in, the grunt/drive of the car along with the interior. The hoop dash really really had me. Just looooove supras....even people who have no care in the world for cars, see supras and give nice comms! Supras just rule.
  6. Whifbitz do some great quiet and great looking exhaust, and not bad prices either! go for a 3" twin box, for that tuner look and sensible noise level:D welcome!
  7. uks came with leather door handles and japs came with imitation, dont know about the facelifts though
  8. Nope, my car came with the crappy old cloth and vinyl rears, want my car to have a nice normal car feel inside so went with the facelif cloths;)
  9. not brand new from toyota, but new enough:D love that wheel
  10. Your supe is hot!! Is it legal to have black number plates + white numbers and letters? if it is i might consider them
  11. No, you will need the loom and sensors fitted to the car for it to work:)
  12. Got my facelift 4 spoke fitted today, nearly touched cloth when removing the airbag unit:d Feels much better than the momo and something less to declare modified:D
  13. Nope, the lugs are different, the connections to the looms should be the same:)
  14. Headlight units: LH - 81170-1B210 RH - 81130-1B210 Headlights With bulbs: LH - 81150-1B210 RH - 81110-1B210

  20. im planning on doing mine in hammerite green:D can you give me a link to the halfords type paint you used, as i realllly like the colour youve used:) top job there mate
  21. swap your crashed one into the new one, strip the old chassis down, make some money, straighten the chassis out and keep it as a spare...no worries on mechanical work then, just chassis work! would be a geat spare:)
  22. What kind of paint did you use?
  23. I know what your saying when it comes to veyrons, but they have been all over the media unlike our supes....just becuase they come from the factory like that and took 5 years to build to make that power etc etc...if only people really knew what you could do with a 17 year old engine and spend way less that 1 million to get 1000bhp....
