  1. Mine was hard to get square, seem to pull off to the left. Didn't have spats, but want to know too as will be putting oem spats on as well. Off the top of my head you can keep the spats, but not fit the side pods of the diffuser, and attach it another way, just don't know what the "other way" is!!
  2. I've got a rolling aerotop shell, and engine, and 90% of interior panels you can have for £1500, prove them all wrong and you've got a tidy 6 speed aerotop for pennies! Would need picking up though
  3. Well done fella, I'll happily echo a lot of the good comments on here. Really like the fact you've stuck to your guns from day one, and ended up with YOUR car. Good work on the rear seat delete too, may have to pop over and pick your brains on that if your around in a few weeks if you wouldn't mind.
  4. I'm stuck in Leeds, just finished work, sh!t shower shave and food. Then to bed as I'm starting early.
  5. Clock? almost a straight replacement. or A pillar pod
  6. Need to use 60mm gauges mate. I took the panel off, eased off the back of the vent to get the ball out, carefully split the ball and took the blades out. Cut out the bars at the rear to let you access the wires of the gauge if needed. In there is a little plastic gasket around the outlet, cut that down to be a good fit around the gauge, then 1 layer of masking or insulation tape, and push the gauge into the ball. Refit the ball into the panel, wire up, refit the panel and hey presto.

Welcome to the club felaa. have a search and read your fault codes, prob a code 42 failure. Mine's down to the delimiter/mph converter.
  8. Now on eBa*'d http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120673471802#ht_1634wt_1139
  9. Anyone want to spend their hard-earned on a nice aerotop? I've got my beady eyes on a couple of cars, just need to sell mine first!
  10. Unfortunately not mate. Had such an ache trying to source an auto tt loom I've given up as I'm now garageless so this has to go. Been trying to pm you off the phone and for some reason it doesn't like you!! Thanks for confirming though mate. Hope married life is going great!
  11. Its my loom that Rob's talking about, not chopped about, looked this morning and has an ignitor pack still on it, from a low mileage engine and looks almost new. I went to Toyota Leicester and was quoted £1700 for a new one, slightly cheaper for an auto one, but still massive money. And is probably one of the main reasons I've decided against doing the engine swap on my aerotop and selling everything to buy a good tt as all the auto looms seem to have been chopped up to fit a 6 speed conversion or for singles.
  12. Ignore this, fingers are cold!
  13. Not doing too bad at all, might stick mine on there too! Very nice car, glws
  14. + will also have a full set of Porterfield R4S fast road pads all round. I must be mad!! Spending more money on it to get it the way I want it whilst selling it. Hasn't been much interest though It must be the time of year, or I'm not doing it right!
  15. You should stop wearing the @rseless ones in winter, Talc everywhere after a curry!!!
  16. Don't think I'm allowed back there. Long story, don't ask!!!!

  18. Nice one Josh, finally got the car to back up the 3800+ posts in less than 12 months Seriously, lovely motor mate. Take care.
