    Right guys, After a few issues that I've resolved on the TT, and another just about sorted, there's one I can't (or don't want to, as I'm scared of the answer!!) sort out. The engine has a ticking noise, sounds like it's coming from the top of the engine, around pistons 4-5 on the intake side. The sound speeds up as the RPM goes up, does anyone have a clue?

    Desperately in need of an exhaust rocker cover, as I've found my leak! Whoever decided bathroom sealant was a good idea for an engine gasket also had no idea of torquing down bolts and has cracked the cover!

    I'd turn it by hand to make sure everything was free, then take off the rotor arm and disconnect the fuel pump and give it a good crank to get some fresh oil around the block before it was started. And as monsween said, the brakes with probably need a going over. And check for rats!

    They're not expensive to buy, but the part number has changed. There is a thread on here about it. IIRC it was about £17-£20
