  1. I use the CW contacts as I had always found it tricky to get others in and out on a daily basis. I would highly recommend them. I tend to take them out about once a week though just to refresh. HTH
  2. Like most cars. Only a failure if deemed to be excessive play.
  3. Hi mate Yup I'm still there for the time being. I finished my OND but had to put my HND on hold as our adoption process has picked up pace and needed to earn a full time wage for the forseeable future. Trying to find a decent job at the mo Oh yeah, hav'nt had a chance to use the kit yet on my Supe as I've been spending time fiddling with my newly acquired MX5. See you next time you're in. Rich
  4. Sounds like tracking, but tracking or front wheel alignment will not be adjusted for camber by the usual shit-fit etc. HTH Rich
  5. Exactly the same as mine which I bought second hand for a tenner.
  6. Hope to see some more ali parts available soon. Great finish Paul.
  7. Correct but also easily the slowest car there on the day.
  8. Hi red I am foutunate to own both an 03 MX5 sport 1.8i and a 95 UKTT. The MX5 is alot of fun to drive but nowhere near the power of my supe 150hp v apprx 400hp. However the 5 is a lot more chuckable and you can exploit full power more of the time. Both are great. HTH Rich
  9. Good stuff, looking at those times though I came last it was'nt that much difference seeing I have never done anything like that before and easily had the slowest car. I love to do this again.
  10. Received today with thanks Paul.
  11. Great day, nice to meet everyone:) Hopefully we can do this again sometime.
  12. Yes there is a Tesco only two minutes away that sells the 99 ron and a Shell for V-power only 5 mins away. See you there. 8.30am start. I'll be in the 5 tomorrow.
  13. Sorry to hear your woes, I hope CW sees this and can give you some feedback.
  14. I have an MOT test station where I work, try and get as much heat into the Cat as possible so the cat is 'lit'. Take a hard drive before hand or get the tester to hold the revs of the car before the emmissions test to give you the best chance of passing. HTH
  15. Excellent I will ring them ASAP hopefully they will accept payment this late. If it is dry I'll take the supe but if wet do you think it would be OK to bring my newly acquired MX5 sport? Ta Rich
  16. Anymore spaces free as I am only two miles down the road from this:cool:
  17. Cripes, shocking. How lucky are we with our supes etc.
  18. Is this the same Garrett the polisher who knows Paul K (slow dog) and has/used to have an orange CTR?
  19. Had a car in work today for an MOT, a chavved up lime green Seat Ibiza thing with what must of been a straight though exhaust. It sounded like the exhaust was hanging off. My MOT tester referred to his VOSA book which stated something along the lines of the vehicle having to be reasonabley silenced in accordance with another vehicle of the same type etc. MOT testers discretion at the end of the day.
  20. I have always liked the stock look, simple yet effective. But I do agree that it needs lowering a touch and wheels can make a car. Never been a fan of bodykits, extra bits of plastic (weight)stuck on that serve no useful purpose (ie. no wind tunnel testing etc)apart from looks if thats you're thing:D . All IMO of course:)
