I'll give you a bit of background first, bought my Supra from a member called Mcgoo on here. When i bought it it was a RZ twin turbo 6 speed BPU. I absolutly loved the car and used it as my daily for nearly 2 years. When fuel costs were becoming an issue for me i got myself another run around and started to take it off the road over winter. Car was running 430bhp and this was more than enough and loved the power. 4 weeks before Japfest 2013 i lost all boost, and was so upset when i couldnt find what was wrong with it. After looking through so many threads to find what it could be and checking boost pipes and solinoids it came down to the fact that my 1st turbo had failed. Pritty dramatically. Most of the blades on the hot side had pritty much been destroyed, was planning on getting myself another set of twins and swopping. After some convincing from Mark (Pulley) we decided that going single was the way forward. After many cuts to my hands and impossible bolts to remove, the old knackered turbos were removed: Got a couple pics with the guys that helping me. Mark and Ant's supras, also Laurence helped. When removing few parts it came to our attention that a few extra bits of work were needed. Subframe had almost rotted through, so mark got on the phone to Keron and a new subframe turned up 2 days later, got it painted up and ready to fit.

  3. Looks good day. Was gonna come along with mark but had to work. Looked a great day tho!
  4. This is an awesome build. Very nicely done
  5. Great video. As surpas get older they get faster...
  6. I bought my TT when I was 20, still have same one and now 23. Went from a saxo vtr to my supra which was a bit of a jump in power but was awesome. I would save for one and don't spend all your money as they are expensive to maintain
  7. Wow, such a difference for a brilliant price!
  8. Looks like a really good job, I'd hide your car away in a garage just in case he wasn't insured or something and wants revenge! Good job your other neighbor was so helpful too. I'd buy him a case of beer as a thank you, could of been £900 out of your pocket.
  9. If you do end up breaking it, dibs on the boot if its good condition!
  10. Great pics! Was a good day out
  11. I've bought second hand set yeah but going to be selling on as I'm going to go single now.
  12. I'd say you don't need to.
  13. Just an update for anyone that may be searching this, turbo was at fault. First turbo is nackered. Big thanks to Mark 'Pulley' for coming to help me out.
  14. Got mine when I was 20, 23 now and wouldn't say it's my dream car yet, want to do quite a few jobs to it (which are expensive) for it to become my dream car. I love my car though and got no intentions of selling it, annoying thing is now I'm saving for my first house. If I sold supra there's my deposit but keep thinking what I've saved so far would make my supra happy
  15. Thanks mplavery just gone through whole thread, will have a look into some of those bits. I guess your right swampy lol
  16. Thanks lee, will have another good look.
  17. Really nice supra you got there mate!
  18. Hi guys, Not really sure what's happened but today after work, got into car, drove it down the road and realised something was wrong. When I drove to work I didn't notice anything wrong. I'm getting no boost atall. Boost gauge reads 0 when should be boosting. Have checked all pipe work and nothing obvious jumps out. Turbos aren't spooling atall but instead are making a different weird noise, unsure why. No smoke or anything like that while driving but do have bit of blue puff now again but think this is down to stem oil seals. Any help would be great Thanks, Chris
  19. Where abouts do I pay for this? Can't seem to find the shop, has someone got a link for me. Thanks
