The tyres are much much better and actually fit the wheels correctly, no doubt plenty of work to do around the old arched, but I will take care of that. DNK, SupraAyf, Many thanks for the information, that is in valuable as I didn't really have a clue to be honest. Just don't want to buy them and then find when I mount the wheels they are way to big and need big arch work!!! Do we think that £190 a tyre is expensive for that type of size, the tyre gentlemen said it was a very good price as everything else was £230 240 each ....... Ayf, I want some kind of rim protection for sure, and too prefer a proper overlap safer too as the tyre is less likey to part with the rim on hard corning. Cheers guys.

Apologies, had to reboot. Front Tyres currently are: - 19/245/35 = Front offset is +40 and Rear Tyres currently are: - 19/275/30 = Rear offset is +37 I will be rolling the arches by the way, got that all in hand literally ha...........

Thanks buddy, I know the side walls will make quiet a bit of difference, so hoping someone will know. I have them getting the Continentals in, but was hoping someone could confirm perhaps or could turn out to be an expensive trial and error scenario. Current rubber on them is stretched on the rear 19/275/30. Definately don't want that as its dangerous.

Hi everyone, Just wondering if there is anyone with experience of fitting 19 inch x 10.5 J rear alloys on the Supra. Has to have been done before, so looking for advice on the correct tyre size. I have been to my local shop and they seem to believe that they have a tyre which will suit a 10.5j, it a Continental best value for money (forgot the size), but they are £190 each? Any advice would be greatly apreciated. Cheers

With some tender loving care, looks like you going to have a really nice car there. Sounds like you are heading down the right road with reversing out some herendous modifications, but each to there own and all that. I have no clue why someone would think spraying their dash yellow would be a good thing, perhaps in a 911 Turbo with some carbon fibre around it on a yellow car, but with a black one ha........ Be great to see some pictures when your finished enjoy.

Heard earlier today that you have had a mishap buddy. Don't get disheartened, things like this happen to the best of people, you just got to take the rough with as much or little smooth as your lucky enough to get. I certainly wouldn't give up on your car, anything can be fixed within limits apart from catastrophic internal failure blowing the block. It doesn't look all that bad on the face of it. I would be looking at it this way, time to learn what your made of and prove that you can resolve the issue. It will take time perhaps and patience too, but anything is possible and you have plenty of friends on hand. Just wish you weren't quiet so far away, but if needs must I will help you.

Hi there due to the confusion reference the REAS. The kits is now back up for sale. Apologies, and could a MOD change the title for me please. I thought it was REAS, but never thought to question at the time on purchasing the car it was in such good condition I didn't care. Currently have interest from a European buyer, he just needs to arrange postage costs etc, and will be getting back to me. So be quick if you want it, front is now off rear to follows later tonight. No not for BPU thats why I am changing them. Wish I decided earlier then I wouldn't have wasted £60.00. They are just the best version of the plugs for a standard Twin Turbo only. Thanks for the question.

When the car was sold to me they told me that it had REAS Suspension. As all the newer cars come with it. If I am wrong then I have been mis informed, but even so if it isn't its still a bargian, so the price won't be changing. Plus the pictures are there for all to see, so guess you make your own minds up. But thanks for raising it, the buyer might change his mind and I would hate to selll something advertised incorrectly. So thanks for the heads up.........

I went with a Greddy 3 Row in the end, just could not justify the extra money to stretch to the 4 Row. I have Active Spolier Controller, which I was planning in locking down to prevent 'Auto Mode'. Fingers crossed I can get it all to go back in, surely 'it can be done'.

I will have for sale by the end of this weekend. Just need to remove them. Denso Iridium Spark Plus VK 20 (5604), bought from Opie Oils cost me £60. These are the same plugs as the IK2O, but they are called 'Tough; apparently they have more 'Platinum' on the tips and will last even longer than the performance ones. Pictures to follow... Everything is in excellent working order, and it will all come with frames too. Haven't decided yet on a price, but I won't split the set. Again just don't want to be lumbered with individual parts. Unless two people can decide they want the front and rear, certainly won't be giving any of it away as its in excellent order. Thanks for the questions........

I have for sale an excellent as new condition interior consisting of.......... 2 x Front Seats (Drivers is electric). 1 x Rear Bench This is a Facelift matching interior in a really nice colour, and pattern. Has to be very hard to get hold of, so replace your older tired interior with this set from a 1998 car it has been very well cared for only covering 71,000 miles. I will have for sale this weekend. A Factory Standard Twin Box Section Twin Turbo Exhaust system. This will include the centre section and the rear silencer section. The car has only been in the country since March 2009. It hasn't been driven in the rain, and has only covered 3,300 miles in my ownership so far. The car is dry stored throughout the winter, so as good as its gets from original with only very light visual tarnishing. Spraying with a good exhaust paint will ensure this rear system will cover many more thousands of miles. I will have for sale with the next two days my suspension system for sale. It currently resides on my factory original 1998 Jspec VVT-i Twin Turbo. The suspension is in excellent condition, and my car has been very well looked after in Japan and I am the first owner in the UK. Imported in March 2009. The car hasn't been driven in the rain, and was stored all over the winter. I have only driven 3,300 miles in the car since buying it. Clock says 71,000 miles from new. The is (NOT A REAS Suspension System - I HAVE NOW BEEN INFORMED)!!!!!!!!! Although my car was manufactured in 1998 (middle of onward), it doesnt have the system.
