  1. Good Build mate. Well done! I also struggled drilling the oil pan on mine! I had to walk away a few time and come back to it. Nightmare!!!
  2. I put these on mine last year, top class! Handles very well on 20's & no rubbing! Great coil overs & will last unlike others. Good luck with the sale mate.
  3. Maybe this year out of the past 6 years of ownership I may be able to make a meeting!!!! Hope so!!! I do have a busy time at work but its time to make an exception!
  4. Its been along time coming but I feel this is the year for this motor!!!! Been wasted in the past.
  5. I feel this project went well & would love to help any future projects. The biggest trouble with my conversion is I could only work on it between work mainly at weekends so it would stand from week to week which isn't the best but at the end of the day my work came first & had to fund the project. I think as a joiner I did pretty well in this conversion & with very little productive work in the motor trade I completed the tasks pretty well. Many of my mates have said I had completed an impossible task, I knew my self I would never be beaten & this car had to be turbo's. As I stated earlier everything came with patients & as much as I wished this could not be completed overnight, it took months of research & planning.
  6. Just to let you guys know this project was completed & is currently garaged but will be back on the road in april time. Everything running perfect, showing correct on the A/F gauges & not smoking. Its been in the garage for around 12 months but had it down my local straight for a run yesterday & perfect. So don't anyone considering a N/A conversion be put off, hard work but let me tell you well worth it! this car was quick for an N/A but it doesn't half shift for a N/A T. Theres a few quality motors around my area & think they are all scared shit of this now. But this post was only left to let you know mission was accomplished & please try! Be patient tho it doesn't happen overnight! Thanks to everyones help! Cheers Davey
  7. I also have my original roof. So will just use this when sat in the garage. Cheers Davey
  8. Mine will be for sale early easter. Haven't been on for a while but back now! This isn't twisted or dented intact its perfect, but not sure how much I want for it. It also has the carbon inner frame and been upgraded with plated front connectors as after a while these can work loose with taking it on & off. Not sure if its mine your on about but worth a post!
  9. Cheers Matt, Not sure I want to start fitting body kit to this and going through all that hassle!
  10. Cheers Mate I only want to here the truth from people.
  11. Think I will try all four wheels on & take one more look with them all fitted. I will post pics up. If still not taken by it Ill have to try and get my cash back on them and buy proper offsets + stud pattern next time. Cheers Davey
  12. Anyone else see a problem? Or just think they look crap set out that far?
  13. You think? I just wanted a change for the summer, bit gutted really!!
  14. I think there guna get sold, not happy!! Look nice from the side tho! Such a shame
  15. Hey Guys, Got the wheels for my Navara and the offset was diffrent to what I thought. The wheels have an offset of 20 and I am using a 30mm hub converter for nut spacings. The proper offset on standard Navara wheels is 30 but Iam told you can use bigger like 40. My offset now is 50 as far as Iam aware but are they legal like this or am I asking for trouble? Some people say they look better with a wider stance but is it too much? Just wana make sure!!!
  16. One other thing before I end this post, I got the wheels really cheap and they have brand new tyres on them but the chrome could do with redone. Does anyone know the cost of getting the wheels re chromed? Thanks Davey
  17. Will try them tomorrow !! fingers crossed!
  18. The guy said he used 30mm spacers on his l200 but never understood why.
  19. Got the wheels today and they arnt l200 offset! woohoo! They are ET20 so should be fine?
  20. Ok thanks for the help!
  21. Thats what I thought! But just wanted to check. Probs best to try one against the hub and see how it fits then add 30mm onto that? Is it normal to let bigger wheels stick out abit? is there a limit? Thanks Jamie for the help!
  22. Hey Guys, just bought a set of 22" rims for my Navara D40 today from a mate who had them on his l200. Just wanted to ask if anyone knew much about wheel offset? The navara wheel offsets are +30 and the new rims have an offset of -15 but I need to fit a stud pattern adapter which is 30mm thick. Any ideas if these wheels will stick out to far? Any help would be great before I order any bits!!!
  23. Hey mate, you still having no joy on this?
