  1. Flat 4: I assume that's because the oil will seep past the piston rings as they are lying down?
  2. I get exactly the same thing, puff of blue smoke then clean, but only if it's been standing. I have been told it's nothing to worry about. My mates STi has doen this from 7,000 miles too!
  3. Heh, I used to work for Pi Technology, was a windows programmer, though I have "played" with some of the other ECUs that were knocking about while I was there.
  4. I believe that green LED on the diagnostics/serial link cable flashes in time with either the RPM signal or any one of the 4 ABS sensor inputs, depending on the position of the slip control dial. Terminator sent me a fantastic set-up file (thanks again for that), don't think mine would have been much cop with the settings loaded into it when I got it, 4 cylinders for a start
  5. My box is there too, no foil or foam though, hmm. I didn't bolt it down, seems pretty snug there and it hasn't moved, not even during testing I mounted the control dial for the RLTC in the holdall/arm-rest in the centre console, as I don't require the launch control button being an auto I don't mind lifting the hatch to change the setting. The dial fits nicely between the little coin holder inside and the right hand/front edge.
  6. John/Steve, I would be interested in finding out where you got your rear shocks from and how much they cost you as I will be needing to replace mine very soon, one has just started leaking! Richard
