  6. it will run with it off, what will happen is the revs will go up then down then up then down quite quickly.
  7. think we hit the send button at the same time lol, well found bud
  8. aftermarket wastegates are fitted and plumbed to the boost controler, the wastegate is fitted just like a BOV on the charge pipe and allows it to discharge at a set psi etc etc. not all wastegates are exhaust operated, you can control them completely seperately
  9. wastegate is controled by the boost controler, set it to open at set psi from the manifold etc and bov as the charger i have dosent have antistall.
  10. im plumbing in a wastegate and boost controller, and a BOV, but thats a way off yet lol
  11. point taken, fair play. i listen to everyone who would like to give advice, and im certainly someone who uses the expresion a lot (you learn something new every day). an sc mounted to a chassis in a proper mannor and set up correctly will not give any issues so long as the engine has been fixed securely (engine brace, mounts etc). i know this because i have done it before on 2 diffrent vehicles. i also have 1 monster truck on 4 fixed mounts running an sc running a cog belt. dont get me wrong guys i like discusions and i apreciate everything everyone says, however when theres 10 of you going NO no NO no NO then you wind me up, say your point and then do what you will. dont keep going at me cause then ill just tell you shut up in the nicest possible way. and yes im easyly wound up, always will be. but that dosent make me a bad engineer, ive been customising and making spec vehicles for 8 years, and i mean chopped up tanks down to cars. but theres probably people here with more years experiance to which i will gladly take advice. right enough bableing on, lets start fresh. the SC is mounted to the block atm, i am continuing with the project but i dont think it will be ready for japfest, i certainly hope so though but lets see. again i apreciate your support and comments.
  12. still takes it quite well, after all the n/a is a TT engine without a turbo or is it just the block ? cant remember now. but im sure you can run up to 12psi on n/a and up to 16 psi on TT, im sure someone will correct me though
  13. for all in doubt! right lets get one thing straight, IT IS MOUNTED TO THE BLOCK!!.. so lets stop going on about that issue, there wouldnt be one mounting to chassis woth solid mounts and the set up i was planning i can guarantee it! and no i am not abandoning it, just taking a break , i dont know if anyone has ever tried this replying to this thread but its one of the hardest custom jobs i have done, and i work with SC every day. this seriously isnt for the small pocket or the one who has a nagging missus and no spare time lol. it will be getting completed but i think im gonna not push it for japfest in june as im gonna end up with problems. im pretty sure it wouldnt be that long after that though... im away at santa pod all this weekend with the monster trucks so ill have a lil break then get to it again next week . cheers all for your support.
  14. LMAO. haha. i think im just getting too fustrated with it. gonna have a few days off. never given anything up in my life so dont intend to start now Same as above buddy. the suspension turret, got an engine brace on the way and some stiffer mounts so may sort it out, if not will have a slight knock at full throttle gear change but not to worry cheers both
  15. hahah lol hammer and large 60inch pry bar was the tools of today funny enough
  16. you cant really see the brackets, and there only made of 4mm flat steel atm, need to make them up of 6mm when its fully sat. ill get what i have got though. im seriously considering abandoning it all now though. its cost me £1600 up to this point, and i still have a massive way to go, having trouble clearing the turret and everything is just causing me a headache . i have proved it can be done, but lets see how i feel in the morning after a beer break
  17. right, heres the first video, please bear in mind that there is still masses to do and tidy up, ignore the belt slip as that isnt adjusted yet, and the exhaust blow (cover stud is out). but heres a taster, oh and im crap camera holder
  18. that looks really sweet bud. will definately have to meet up at some point. i looked at doing my skyline aswell till i sold it. goood stuff well done
  19. got it on ebay, from usa, was fitted to a 200sx, so just runa fresh map after taking off the harness with it and swapping injector 5 & 6 wire to the right location, was a good deal £200 basicly for e-manage 200sx plug and play harness greedy e-01 greedy boost sensor greedy boost solenoid cables all but the e-manage is on ebay to get my money back
  20. if your running 1000bhp through them then yes they wont last long without strengthening the chassis. im not really gonna discuss much anymore guys, everyone seems to think neg, soooo lets see how it comes off yer and you keep discussing as you will
  21. its fitted but i can only run the engine ofr a few minutes as the rad is out and all intake pipeing is off oh and a few studs out the exhaust manifold, but yer it runs ok on the "0" base map, shouldnt run any different till tuned im still gonna trailer it to AFR just incase though. ill let you know in more detail when its tuned if you like
  22. well done bud looks good. yer at the moment im spending time fabricating everything, got the pump and e-manage in already, once the supercharger has been mounted and runs ok then ill fit the injectors etc etc etc. should be fully mounted by end of next week (depending on how long it takes me to make the engine mounts ). will have to meet and see the diference but defo good luck
