  16. yer at the moment if i top mount it, to get the clearance i would need a 19" scoop. if i use the TT manifold it only drops to 16", still a bif old lump to look at. i dont htink it willl look right

    Driving Test

well done bud, and say a big well done to your girlfriend. trust me she will now want the supe LOL
  21. right lets clear this up. a car engine (lets say the jza80) tilts to a maximum of 4 degrees on the standard mounts. therefore if you mount the supercharger to the body it will eventualy snap the belt, or even the SC head. now, if you make spring mounts for the SC attached to the body, the spring takes up 9 degrees of movement in all directions, therefore with that and the adjuster taking it all up you would NOT have a problem guaranteed (if fitted correctly). i am not fitting it to the body now i am fitting it to the block, i am ALSO heat wrapping the exhaust with 1200 degree temp wrap, i used this stuff also in the army and trust me it works. that will keep the heat away from the charger, and then the intercooler will do the rest.
  22. true, but again! its not the power i want, its the difference! anyone can bpu or TT but who can supercharge?. theres good points to having 600bhp but when can you use it? however having a 1st uk supercharged supra is better in my opinion
