right lets clear this up.
a car engine (lets say the jza80) tilts to a maximum of 4 degrees on the standard mounts. therefore if you mount the supercharger to the body it will eventualy snap the belt, or even the SC head. now, if you make spring mounts for the SC attached to the body, the spring takes up 9 degrees of movement in all directions, therefore with that and the adjuster taking it all up you would NOT have a problem guaranteed (if fitted correctly).
i am not fitting it to the body now i am fitting it to the block, i am ALSO heat wrapping the exhaust with 1200 degree temp wrap, i used this stuff also in the army and trust me it works. that will keep the heat away from the charger, and then the intercooler will do the rest.
