Getting ready for a flaming session here but IMO most people are only interested in the big HP builds, which takes an aweful lot of money, something that seems to be lacking for the majority of us. I would love to see the projects section opend up to anyone and made more easily accessible to do so.

I am having a hard time working out what size wheel spacers to order (mayB coz i iz fik) Fronts are 17x9" 235/45/17 tyre and offset is 44, what size spacer can i use without rolling the arches. Will find out what rears are in the morning. Thanks. Corneilious.

I have only ever been gripped by the traffic cops, twice for street racing, once for making loads of noise in my pulsar and then a few times for speeding inc doing 51 in a 30, but they have always been fine with me, might just be because i didnt act like a pen1s and accepted that i was in the wrong. IMO they do a good job and should be given power to use even more force

Have a quick check to see if all the bolts are tight (but not too tight) first, its quite common for some of the bolts to loosen, they only need nipping up mind.

Up for sale is my NA airbox, its in perfect condition, all clips are present and working, also comes with the scoop that fits over the radiator and a Blitz panel filter that has done 2000 miles. Open to offers

Not too sure mate, i am just hoping i wont have lost any power by having m_lifes engine, its likely to turn into a costly mod for no gain lol. I'm sure it was £35 last time at TDi.

I have been using an Apexi filter but will run with no filter and a pipe to the headlight intake this year.

I have now gone full circle from this morning and decided for the first round I will use my normal 17s with T1Rs and see what 60fts I get with them as a bench mark for the next round, Im just hoping to get the times down a touch from 14.5, ideally as close to 14 as possible.

Thank you very much for the offer, very much appreciated. I still don't know what to do, it seems 50/50 on them working, i have spent a few days now searching the net trying to find someone who has used them on a low powerd car. I might just get them and if they don't work i can always put my road wheels on.
