Now, we sold the CR Kai's to a forum member on here, after having them coated and refurbed to perfection. We came across a project from one of our Australian forum friends who had a nice choice of track wheels, seeing i had the same front fenders as him, i decided to go with these also, and another reason: because we are also going for some track time this year... Also, we have a Koyo radiator on the way (large size) + Tial Q and Mishimoto fan shroud kit. Paul is also providing me a whifbitz upper rad pipe. Plans are that i will probably go for the SRD billett lower waterneck too.

Turbo was a little problem. Car was first mapped with Fcon in the UK and made 413 to the wheels and 490 on crank with about 540 ft lbs on stock engine, stock fuel system etc, just turbokit (which was already on the car) altough i wasnt very happy with the look of the turbo, i had it checked, the guys told me the bearing was dead, and someone had run the turbo without any oil at all, resulting in a burned journal bearing... https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-8ViVn84PcOE/Tyc3HAcR-QI/AAAAAAAADz8/LGFy8J9dpeA/s800/T04R+Supra+%28235%29.jpg Because the bearing was a size no longer available..and the turbo being quite awesome i decided to have the centre cartridge replaced by an original Garrett unit. Same size everything, just the bearing was a different size. Hi guys, so its a while since we were updating our old project thread, and since we are now on a roll again on getting this car on the road/ track, i though it would be best to make a new topic with a more "summarised" start. Mishimoto radiator had a long wait, so we've changed to Koyo large type. Also, manifold and cam covers on their way to Zircotec, can't wait for the result when they are back. Also looking into new boostcontroller, as i still have the Fcon Vpro, i am going for the EVC6 with easy writer. This also means My blitz SBC-ID3 set will be for sale soon, used set, its the R version with the boostcontroller and the power meter.

That's what it was like in Japan mate, because the car was über low. He had the tires tucked in a little. I now have the car a little higher, about 1 inch spacing to allow for speed bumps. I don't have any negative camber, car has been normally and properly alligned. I don't have any problems with the fenders, with room to spare.

? thats just the paint the guy has on his car..... and they are not carbon, they are FRP and very well made actually. Mine are all painted up and everything when the car had its new paintjob. Here is a pic.

Time to dust off this topic. "cough cough" lol. So, after investing time and money in the company the last few years, its time we finished our demo car. We had a few ideas, but in order to get the car up and running in the fastest, most decent way, we opted to keep the current engine stock. We will be doing some ARP mods to the engine first, head/mains/rods, just to make sure its ok to go up to about 700 horses (Want to see what our reconditioned T04R will do). After that we will set up the fuel system, and get the HKS ecu remapped or even go for a Syvecs... First i decided to get rid of the current Works wheels, as they were too narrow for the setup i was running already. Looking around for quite a while and CCW's caught my eye every time, but i was looking for that extra touch that would please my taste. After a while I just recently found the topic on the Supraforums, of one Australian guy (who'm most of you probably now). He has recently started a new project and has his car sponsored by Gorilla Industries. He has a nice setup with the Enkei RPF1's and i thought that had to be my choice, 1 as they are light. 2 because i like the offset and sizes. 3 as i will be joining a few circuit days over the coming year these would be ideal. I'd say there are fewer projects, even here over the pond, but the quality of the projects is definately getting to a higher level. Time to dust off my topic too lol. 3 years nearly stood still....poor thing.... but, put some elbow grease in this last weekend and working on the car here and there to get all the wiring etc in order (previous Japanese owner was a spaghetti lover by the look of it). Plans to get the car on the road asap, with just some arp studs/ fuel system etc on the stock block, and build a complete forged engine on the side during this spring/summer.
