  1. Decided to keep and use on my own car. But normal set now will be for sale with some nice warped disks. Calipers are as they should be. not sticky at all.
  2. facelift not for sale but have standard ones
  3. LOL. good one. i think that needs to be edited East london
  4. N/A engine covered approx 80K Removed from a manual. but no flywheel. (sold with box) Runs lovely. took a quick vid before removing last week so you can see that. £370 including loom Already out.
  5. I'll keep you posted. this is one of those things im just going to have to get my head stuck into.
  6. Or more importantly what do i need to swap over to add ABS? Hi everybody. i thought id ask the question before throwing myself into something that seems simple but isnt.... I have 2 supra's 1 has abs (breaking anyway), the other doesnt (keeping) has anybody attempted this? 1. do the hubs come pre-drilled for the sensor and with the toothed hub? so just add sensors (eg remove a cap or plug)? or do i need to swap all the hubs over? 2. is the cars loom or part of the loom pre-wired for abs? 3. what differences are the also to add traction control? 4. Do i need to entirely strip both cars and swap the entire loom over!?>......... I will do it whatever it takes. but its nice to know what im getting myself into first Thanks in advance. Gary
  7. Soo far ive seen Gold, silver and grey badges? Are they in accordance to the cars spec or are they a choice??
  8. Tell us how much you want for the engine?? Ill concider it if the price is right (as a spare)
  9. Now I understand what you were trying to say on my other post (5 speed na to tt auto). I assumed it was only the 6 speed that had the higher plate welded in as it's a larger box. I didn't realise it would be the same on the 5 speeds also.
  10. Hi everybody. This may sound like a really silly question. I know that autos have a smaller transmission tunnel and to make it a 6 speed you should change the top section of the housing. And untill today I assumed the 5 speed was the same as an auto but a closer inspection leads me to believe that the 5 speed has the same tunnel as a 6 speed? Is this correct? Or maybe only on facelifts? Any input will be apprieciated. Thanks Gary
  11. I do somewhere, which one or are they all the same?
  12. Hi there, pic attached. all the visible marks are only dirt. has not been cleaned, litterally needs a wash. http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/1238/dsc05930z.jpg
  13. i am actually after the passenger side! lol
  14. Will do tomorrow. but it is clean. i cant believe how i spelt writing. i must have been tired!
  15. I have the tray but its a bit broken. just saw it today whist taking the engine out. could still probably be used though.
  16. Manual ecu included. sorry. forgot to mention. Dash blanks if they are not ruined with holes Might need cat. not sure yet
  17. Cool mate. Lol. yes, i have stripped a complete supra car loom previously and along with the E30 and made it work. one of the most stressfull times but im good with wires. And to simplify, project is. N/A 5 speed manual to TT auto. So the trans tunnel is already the smaller type. Just never really messed around properly with swaps till now. The reason i am doing it is. I just want an auto TT. I have a shell/Gearbox and engine. But i threw away the shell that the auto came from The question is can i be bothered? Or i suppose i could do it in stages. 1st swap the dash looms over. as it wont affect drivability Then swap over the rest
  18. Hi everybody. Does anybody have a spare set off TT mounts with brackets that go to the engine? I kinda need 2 x passenger ones and a drivers also. Im sure i have some spare somewhere, but i dont remember where! Lemme know Thanks Gary
  19. Hi, do you still have your TT mounts? i also need the mounting plates that go to the engine.
  20. Well i have a complete car to swap bits back and forth. Auto wiring is easy to come accross on every TT lump Oh i forgot to mention the car the auto box is going into is a 5speed N/A, if it makes a difference, i know the tunnel will be fine but my main concern was the wiring to the shifter and the wires to the clocks. Im more that capable of retrofitting a kickdown switch. I just cant be bothered swapping the cars internal loom, been there done that, got the badge. dont fancy doing it again
