sim1987 you fancy hooking us up with the dealer or his number because seems theres a few people lining up to buy [GRIN][/GRIN]
  2. When buying try to get a standard one as the majoraty have the hks filter on them and it is very poor for filtration, also be sure of the milege on the car, and when looking check the brakes as when i bought mine they had been bish boshed to get through the m.o.t

anyone find out if theres any more going at this price?
  4. Running costs will be higher than the clio no doubt and as for reliable engine wise im very sure they are. In the last year i had to replace full brakes, suspension shocks/springs, exhaust system 1 set of front tyres and 2 sets of rear tyres so far its been fine lol, as for the n\a not being much quicker than the clio think toyota said the n\a was 6.2 0-60 top end of around 150 which is no slouch Ph.1 172 0-60mph is 6.8secs 0-100mph 18.3secs (can't find weight but think about 1050kgs) Ph.2 172 0-60mph is 7.1secs 0-100mph 18.9secs 1110kgs 172 Cup 0-60mph is 6.7secs 0-100mph 17.7secs 1021kgs Clio 182 0-60mph is 6.6secs 0-100mph 17.5secs 1110kgs 182 Cup 0-60mph is 6.5secs 0-100mph 17.3secs 1090kgs Trophy 0-60mph is 6.6secs 0-100mph 17.3secs 1090kgs Clio 197 0-60mph is 6.9secs 0-100mph ???? 1240kgs 197 Cup 0-60mph 6.9secs 0-100mph ???? 1220kgs Clio 200 Cup 0-60 6.6secs 0-100mph 16.7secs 1204kgs that shows the supra n\a on data is faster than the quickest clio and the supra weighs about 400kg more all im saying is dont discount the n\a many people are happy with it and its a big jump from a clio

Good price wish i could get some at that price was it an ebay bargin?
  7. wanting to put my old oil catch can in as a bit of bling just wondering on the n\a wherre does it go, does it go onto the 2 pipes at the back of the rocker covers or am i wrong ?
  8. yeah i research everything first hence why i post on here, also not to long ago i posted the article about the ysr supra. As i know itbs are custom on our engines, not to long ago i was watching the custom itb setup on here. Not to seem rude but m life there is allways someone that knows more than you or i the post was only for more info and to share what i found with others as the n\a motor is often left alone yet there are a few high tuned ones lurking around
  9. lol sounds good but more info is needed about it seems itbs are the way to go
  10. Has anyone got any more info on this car http://www.socalsupras.com/reference/NAsupra.htm [sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  11. hey how straight forward is this to fit and get running what else is needed or have to be modded to work?
  12. im interested in this is a straight bolt on fit what about the sensors do they fit on this or whats needed to fit it?
  13. hey how much for sideskirts posted and how much for spats posted price seperate and together would be cool thanks
  14. Main reason to be different, plus it will cost less for the head for some one D.I.Ying will be easier just to build the head and from what i heard the 1jz is more revy but wether the 2jz bottom end will affect this is another thing. Best get doing my home work as to wether its worth it
  15. Thinking as there is\was a 1jzgte sitting in the scrap yard near me i might pick it up and do a 1.5jz build and go single on that instead of doing N\A-t. Seems quite common in the U.S just want to see if anyone has done it over here and there experiences
  16. cheap aftermarket oil cap for my supra needs to be stainless\silver colour bit of bling lol and any other cheap bling that will fit the N\A
  17. my 2nd gear does this when its cold takes a little more effort warm its fine
  18. meet at the shop? crumpets and tea lol
  19. it was just an idea as to show what the club could do together as opposed to single efforts
  20. well couldn`t you get around it buy having some sort of contract for the people involved in it what if one of the sponsers took ownership of it
  21. yeah i totally agree there will be loads of reasons not to, but its just an idea for a club project that maybe, might just work theres alot of very talented people on this site that i take my hat of to for there work, which would go along way to making this project work
  22. As im sort of new to the club i wondered has there ever been a club built car to show at shows\meets to show club spirit ect...... Now obviously it would be a massive task but with the amount of forum uses that could donate small\large sums or even parts maybe it would work. It could be either model TT or N\A but with recent threads on the N\A wouldnt it be good to build a proper built N\A above the 300bhp? then the club would be known for its club spirit and the building of the big N\A now as for where its kept or who builds it i dont have a clue just throwing the idea out there
  23. I would like to see someone work on the N\A engine its self rather than just adding bolt on`s. We have all done bolt ons and added our own custom parts but yet i see no internal work. The next part of my project will be to lighten the car up as its a fat ba**ard then i will go on to more costly parts im not wanting to brag or make big power just make it shift a little quicker. Surely a supra that ways 1350kg or around with 220bhp will be quicker than the supra with 1450kg at 220bhp just an example What id like to know is whats the best way to make the power on the N\A engine is it wild cams or making the compression higher or another method maybe some help from chris wilson would be good as a guide that will help us Also if anybody has ideas of price of the jobs neede like port and polish, fitting cams internal work things like that just to let people have a clue what there in for [GRIN][/GRIN]
