just done that again fluid comes out fine.vito has the slave up by the pedal and then a concentric slave aswell.

I have converted my mercedes v class from auto to manual.Went right through mot and drove fine .yesterday i took it for its first longer drive and noticed the clutch pedal would stay down at times,i had to lift it back up with my foot.Today it is getting worse.driving slowly the pedal moves up and down,if i knock it out of gear the pedal stays where it was when i knocked it out.Can be either up or down. The clutch seemed fine ,all parts came from a doner vito van.Its taken a while to do the conversion and now it looks like i may have to pull the van apart again. Anybody got any ideas as to what could actually be wrong before i pull the box again.

you dont have to remove the y section .all i used to do was remove the throttlebody snd pull the y section out the way and leave the pipes conected.

i cant believe you sorted them into bolts,nuts ect.

mine was like that.thought it was the tensioner but turnd out to be the aircon pump .use the small belt to see if it goes away.

no i have the wirring diagrams for fitting the emanage to the na pin outs.

i still have all my fitting instructions saved on my laptop if its any help to you.

everything can be bought at your local motor factors. Plugs £15 max oil filter £6 oil ? depends what you go for. Take food with you and buster will be over the moon.

what do i do with the gearbox ecu.do i just leave it connected

how would i do that though.Do you mean the auto gearbox ecu or the main engine ecu.

I have a 1999 mercedes v class that im changing from auto to manual.Most things look easy enough apart from the ecu side of things.Anybody have any ideas if the manual ecu will work right away,it has the same plugs.Also what would i do with the auto gearbox ecu.
