Yeah, thanks for the reply. Got the dash booked in for an undressing this weekend! Knowing my luck next week i'll be posting that my speedo and petrol gauge are buggered.

Ok here goes!! I fitted my new Alpine head unit last weekend and therefore had to remove the dash and all associated wiring connections. For reasons i won't go into i had to re-assemble the dash in a bit of a hurry and hence, the boost gauge does now not work (stays at 0) and the AFR gauge seems to be working in reverse!! Before everyone tells me that i have reconnected stuff wrong, i feel i should explain a couple of things. The cigarette lighter never worked on my car in the first place so when i put the dash back on i didn't reconnect it. I have read on the forum somewhere since, that the boost gauge on some cars use the power wire from the cigarette lighter to power it. Is this true? Is it also possible to reconnect the AFR Gauge the wrong way round, as when i press down on the loud pedal i get readings of 16.0+ and at idle it sits at 11.0ish. Everything on my supe was working fine before my cack handed stereo install!!

Got caught doing 38mph in a 30 zone a while ago. I don't deny the speed but I'm a little miffed that i was caught by a mobile speed unit which was parked 100 yards after a speed camera. ( and they claim they're not just after our money ) Anyway i have been offered a speed awareness course. Has anyone on here been on one of these? If so, what sort of things can i expect?

I'd just like to say thanks for making me feel welcome! It was my first meet and the sight and sound of that many supras was pretty awesome! The highlight of the night for me was, as we were driving through the lights, a bloke who was walking along with his wife stopped gave an appricative nod of the head, turned to his Mrs and with an all knowing confidence says "yeah........skylines" I look forward to being able to make it to the Christmas bash!

Yeah, went for a dry run last weekend and a small section of the prom has been closed for sewage works. The diversion will mean that we will definatley get split up. Saying that though, the roadworks are near the end of the run so we will probably be split by then anyway!

First thing i'd do is get rid of the standard alloy and perhaps go for an 18" or 19" Ultralite. That should get rid of alot of the weight and improve the 0-10mph time!!
