  1. Is it safe to tilt the engine back with the mount nuts removed? Personally id loosen them. The engine will be unstable tilted with no mounts attached. Arnt the mounts designed to tilt anyway? Let us know how you get on.
  2. Cheers all. I get to test my new mammoth sized trolley jack. Mans work. Will defo use axle stands as always and chalks on front wheels on level ground.
  3. Quick one. Is it safe enough to jack up the rear end by putting the jack on the diff? Its so I can get both wheels off the deck at once. Cheers

  17. I was attempting to fit a TT engine bay loom into my car today (NA-TT) and I noticed a connector presant on the loom that isnt on the old NA loom. Its one of the connectors that goes into the passenger footwell. Can anyone shed some light on what its for? Im not overly concerned about it as the other connectors match up and wiring is the same.
  18. I don't usually read the project cars but this got my attention whilst aimless browsing. Its awesome James. Well done I love the fact that your keeping it so that you can easily revert back to stock looks. Have you considered a stock hood scoop? Just thought id throw that out there....You could always source another stock bonnet to change back. Personally I think it would look awesome. Photoshop anyone? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=175085&stc=1&d=1379283668
