  1. Hello all, I am looking for a passenger side front wing for the supra. Preferably in good condition in stock 202 black. Traders welcome. Thanks, Ilias
  2. Caught car only about 5-6 inches in, so impact was on my light, bumber and wing. I think it may have slightly got bar. The thing is at that speed, if it was head on there probably would have been much less damage! Will upload later Was a Ford Galaxy and only cracked his bumper. He was very understanding and appreciated that I went door to door to see who owned the car. Nope:( Yes, was a side road and car was parked on road, I went to maneuver around it and the car didn't respond at all.
  3. 170,000 km = 110,000 miles. Maybe this is what they mean?
  4. Tell me about it... If it had happened any slower I would have been going in reverse!! I will take a better look today or tomorrow and see if mine is salvagable. Cheers The thing is that the wife had a similar crash two weeks ago in heavy rain and that just cost us £760 to get sorted! Cheers, I will PM you once I have had a look if you dont mind holding it for a few days. Loving the S/C build thread at the moment! I have thought back and regretted not trying that.......The thing is, I didn' fancy becoming the filling in a 1.5 tonne by 1 tonne sandwich!!
  5. Hi all, Whilst doing about 3mph on an icy road up here where I live, the Supra decided it didn't want to listen to me when I steered right and went on to clip a parked car and then veere of to the right and came to rest on a lamp post. GUTTED!!!! Damage from what I can see so far: New near side wing Near side head light (have) Possible front bumper Possible impact bar Feel free to PM me if you have the above Ilias[sAD][/sAD]
  6. The best one was the guy that welded his diff !!! lol
  7. That must be the one. Been over a year since it happened and I wasn't really listening when the guy was speaking as all I could think about ws the money I had to fork out!
  8. Same happened to my Eagle F1's for no reason. Tyre shop (not the one i got them from) said that their were rumours of a bad batch of Eagle F1's around. Or something about them being made under licence by a company that bodged up. Can't remember exactly now.
  9. That's the view of the guys on that forum also.
  10. Ok just read it. Basically the accident happened Sunday before last just outside of Athens, Greece. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and has lost both legs and severe internal injuries and is critical. The passenger was a girl and was wearing a seatbelt and walked away unscathed. The driver is a 23 year old boy fwiw. The speedo was jammed at 100kph (62mph) but it is thought he was doing double that. The car hit the barrier and the metal went straight through the arch and out of the back of the car. One of the tyres came off and went off towards a BP petrol station (doesn't say if it hit anything) Nothing about 5 star cars

    Hi Everyone

Hi mate, Where in N London are you based? As for the head unit, you may find it easier removing the gear and dash panel to get to it.
  15. That is the point of a verbal contract. You don't need proof. I am sure that there will be phone records and the fact that the car was sold shortly after. It really just has to be worth it IMO. Personally for a few hundred pound it's not worth the hastle. The point to remember is that there was a contract (verbal) that was breached as there was no counter offer by Ash to invalidate the acceptance.
  16. As self-employed she has no rights to paid public holidays. If she has an issue with it ask her to call ACAS to see.
  17. Mostly correct. What you can sue for is the difference in price for you to buy a similar car. e.g. This car was a 95' with full extras and 70,000 miles agreed to purchase for £3000. He sells without a counter offer being made to someone else and leaves you without the agreed item. You find another car with near exact spec and costs you £3500. You can sue him for £500, which is the loss to you. (extra cost) I have the case details somewhere of the precedent if you like. Note that if you buy a car for the same price or less there is no case.
  18. They can be but it costs a bit IIRC. The TRD is probably worth refurbing though.
  19. If handbrake is not scratched I will take it. £5 plus postage?
  20. Ok, if it is high probably not achilles. I would still be at the hospital right now instead of here buddy!
  21. That could be a snapped achilles tendon. Get it checked out asap mate!!!
  22. I saw him on Saturday, he is doing well. His little brother is in Cyprus having tyouts with one of the teams out there. Have you added him in FB?
