Id be very tempted too, but how the hell would sort the insurance on this!? i pay £580 pr year for my TT which isnt too bad. I recently tried getting a quote for 4l lexus V8 transplant in my car, if if i could prove it was pushing less power than my TT they still wanted 3k minimum, i tried 14 different companies! gutted

Hahaha! bloody hilarious! Exactly the same happened to me yesterday. I was in slow traffic going up a hill, the car was running on sheer willpower..however it gave up and died, much to the despair of the 20 or so cars behind me! ended up running 200yrs up the road with my jerry can..got the baby going again the returned a minute later....used to get 30 odd miles out of it previously, had it tuned by thor and it goes like stink but now when the light comes on Ive got to find a petrol station as soon as!! lol.

f-con pro ecu, but ive gone back to stock ecu and whats on the spec in my ad, i agree with THOR being abitious with theyre estimates! but what ever its pushing it isnt/wasnt far off my previous ones. either way i dont wana turn this into an arguement...if u read my ad it states thor estimated that...i didnt quote...all i know is its damn quick and from what i can tell isnt far off 400bhp either side.

I hear what ur saying but ive had supras for the past 7 years, two of them being over 440bhp dyno'd, ok they had water injection systems, FMIC,850CC injectors etc..but ive raced the one ive got at the moment and compared to the previous ones its not far off and its times at santa pod and shakespeare were quicker than my previous ones. so to say its over 400bhp isnt unreasonable,how far over 400 i dont know but my neighbours GTR is 427bhp tested, and on the quarter and an outright drag race over a mile i beat him.

does anyone recall a top gear where they got a modified car car to race a classic race car...well kinda. In typical top gear fashion they picked the most redicious 306 modded car with 20k worth of ICE vs an austin healy which weighed er....nothing. I think it would be more interesting if top gear picked any car they wanted and asked the public to race it...the envy supra or cowboys beebops would be very interesting against the veyron!!

Hiya mate Stunning car, truely somwthing you should be proud of! I was in florida recently and go talking to a few guys in a bar about car etc, telling them i had a TT supra in back the uk, they were telling me that tuned vipers rule out there which was a shock to me! so seeing this unveil is amazing and hats off to you mate! What sort of price would i be looking for for this build? Just the engine i meant, up and running?
