  3. it all sounds mental i know...but look at imdb or you tube....theyre even bringing a film out about it.
  4. ok GUYS AND GALS LETS FIGURE IT OUT: weight of 2JZ-GTE engine-594LBS X 44= 26136LBS!! .......................
  5. hey! haven't you seen scrapheap challenge! nothing is impossible hahahaha.
  6. f**k it, lets try it...anyone got 44 2JZ's and a spare 747 kicking around??
  7. fair play at 1bar of boost, plus i admire you taking all the grief from us lot and coming back to admit we may have had a a point...never the less the result is interesting. If you haven't already then a better fuel pump, bigger injectors and maybe a water injection system(sometimes works well) could assist in getting over the 500bhp mark. Its going to be tricky nevertheless, ive only ever known 1 person to get close to that on modded set of stock tubbies (on T04z.com) and they got 486bhp at 1.1bar as far as i know.... anyway the point is yes you may very well blow ur tubbies up but you may also get the 500bhp mark if you increase the boost with a new fuel pump...your getting 415bhp now with 1 bar so boost it up, see what happens. Just be prepared if things dont go to plan. loving the optimism though mate, keep it up.
  8. hey Johnny im in leamington, i maybe wrong but i thought i saw you coming out of RWYB at shakespeare last year....havent seen this car in leam though, looks awesome. I used have the silver one with the c-west kit and white volk racing wheels. I usually use the one on the rugby road towards warwick as the shell gharage one seems to make your car dirtier than it was before!!
  9. ok..i fitted a set of jade-R's 19inch on a stock supra 285/30/19 with 255's on the front, I then i then had a geometry setup. The car doesnt scrape and traction is considerably better than stock, again you lose out slightly on acceleration but thats really not going to matter nor be that noticeable too much if your running that sort of power.
  10. Is this from Showgear is b/ham by anychance? some one called sherri?
  11. cheap for a uk spec tho...but wait...ceramic tubbies?! eh?? lol
  12. Saw this on pistonheads. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/828858.htm
  13. maybe he means one of 'cowboy beebops' engines! we all know how chuffing powerful they are....but hey in all fairness..humour him then when he joins up..goes to suprapod and gets his as5 served to his on the the strip then maybe just maybe....he' l believe everone has a 1000bhp in their cars. lol ...
  14. 2 weeks ago, my car left the road, flipped, hit a tree and then spun 5 times, my car was a write off but I survived...Guys, our lives are so precious and although I consider myself a sensible driver, the car slid on black ice.. I know how lucky I was, it now makes me value life so much more...i didnt know darren but Iam truely gutted to have heard this tradgic news I so feel for him and the people who knew him, my thoughts go out to his freinds and family. Please drive safely guys.
  15. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/782150.htm ??sound like a stock V8 with supercharger whacked one....[OOPS][/OOPS]
  16. I agree with all that you said apart from the 'gunning it bit' did i mention i was doing 35-40 in a 60 zone?! The car was set up in japan, both THOR and fensport have seen it and stated it was a good setup, cant say much about myself but Id like to think theyd know what they were on about. I think it was just a case of bad luck in this case. regarding the tyres ive had P-zero's and goodyear eagle F1's before and although awesome in the the dry the dunlops seemed better in the wet. Unfortunately I couldnt find a tyre on the market that catered for black ice. But yeah if i ever get another one in the future then uprated traction control is top of my list!
  17. My car was an auto so i wasnt dropping down a car as such mearly taking out of overdrive. the car had a fairly new set of dunlops on 275's on the rear and yet the car still aquaplaned. total bummer. Just having a mare with the insurance now. Apparently the book price is £1500 for 1997 twin turbo with 50k on the clock. !! absolute joke.
