  1. when its opened it almost touches the gear stick in 1st, 3rd and 5th. You can still change gear but its awkward. Just dont change the cd when your changing gear lol. (you shouldnt be doing it anyway! ) J-spec so you'll need the band expander. I have photos i can upload if you like
  2. Came out of my car. Will fit in the standard mounts Sony WX-C66MD Good condition, works perfectly. Motorised screen, 2 x RCA out, 1 x RCA in dont know value so offers (sensible offers, im scottish )

    No i think he'll need his canadian stuff. If its a canadian company and he is paid through them. I work all over but since im registered in the uk to a uk company i pay uk tax and all those gubbins. Out of interest why not on the canadian passport? Hope it helps Edit: I may be completely wrong

  10. Right called them, Ferodo or Mintex pads? thes are the top-middle range pads they have. Im inclined to go with Ferodo as they are more expensive ie better. But wanted to make sure before i bought them .

  12. Thanks, i really dont have too much problems with them, just from what i read. Someone already shelled out for the cost of the conversion so i think it'll just be replace the disks and pads. On another note, do i have to buy the HiSpec pads or can i get others? Ie are all 6 pot callipers similar with interchangable pads. I really dont know much about after market brakes as ive never had a car thats needed anything other than standard ones

  14. Im needing new brake pads now and thought i'd have a search around the site for recommended ones. This turned up some interesting reading. I bought the car with HiSpec 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears. Now whilst reading i found out these brakes are pretty crap 1) would it be worth me just plodding on and getting pads for these brakes (discs may need to go soon too(1 year)). 2) should i opt to rip em out and get either UK spec or get an alternative 4 and 6 pot set. 3) Keep the rears and change the fronts to uk spec or other 6 pots? Car is a bog standard TT with BPU a possibility in the future Cheers in advance
  15. To be honest you cant guess power from racing other cars like others have said. I have seen 300bhp cars beating 500bhp cars. Purely because they couldnt put the power down. The only way to settle the argument is with a dyno report

    Not on a supra im afraid. Check the connections at the back i suppose On my old beemer it was the connection to the rear diff that broke and caused my speedo to fail. May have nothing to do with it or even have one lol. Someone else will likely have a better idea
  17. Its the cold air me thinks. I asked the same question a few weeks ago. They frequently overboost when the airs cold.

This was my reply Nope aint got any print outs the tuner gets his figures on the laptop whilst tuning these figures are estimates as stated in article but i can assure you its as quick and faster than any 500+ BHP cars running on when im running on basic programs when the car is turned up its as quick as the ultima GTR kit car on acceleration but of coarse not top end. This car has to be viewed and driven as everyone doesn't believe this can be done and by being viewed youll see for yourself.

  22. I know what you mean! i had this about 2months ago, however the system seems to go up and down. I called up for the fourth time and it was fine, then called back later to add something and bingo it was down
