  1. Thanks guys. I'll make sure I get pictures. The BW9179/S366 is a phenomenal turbo - very fast spooling - but it's limited to around 700bhp....and I've got used to that. It's comfy and fun Now time for a bit of adrenalin rush again
  2. Dropped my Supra off at Lee's yesterday. Plan is to bring it up to SRD900 spec over the winter months. First stage is to get the engine built (bottom end then top end) and engine bay layout tidied up Next is to sell the complete BW9179/S366 turbo and ceramic coated manifold with twin Tial wastegates. Replace with a Precision 6466 Gen2 kit. Upgrade the ID1000s to bigger versions to cater for Ethanol mixes. Complete the 4" exhaust side with downpipe and mid pipe. Ryan remap, Abbey dyno and smile
  3. Amazing. Great that you are in the line up! Go for it Luc! And remember - plenty of video!!
  4. Superb result Kaan, and awesomely great work from SRD team and Ryan! You got the SRD stage 4 autobox fitted?
  5. That's a lot of torque...should be interesting.
  6. Syvecs set at 7200 rpm for stock engine.
  7. Great session at WIM today - Joe set up the geometry and suspension just right for the weekend's track events. Took about 2 hours though! Two major issues found (that I already knew) - the camber on the new rears was about 30% too much, and the new HKS Hipermaxes were set at the factory too soft; increased them by 30 clicks. Now feeling a lot tighter. Almost Tein-like. But another issue found was the nearside front wheel - way too little castor; just negative (probably due to those **@@@*** potholes on the nearside road I try to miss). The right side was +5. So what I thought was road camber drag to the left was the car! Joe pulled it forward so that I now have matched front castor angles. That will make a difference round the circuit this weekend :-). I'll advise WIM on how the car felt on the track next week and see about a follow up to tweak it better for next month's event in July. A thoroughly professional job done by WIM. Highly recommended.
  8. Luc, is that your mate's Shelby you ran with a few months ago? Nice.

Just bought a real SJCAM SJ400 wifi kit from Amazon - all genuine with latest firmware. The full HD H.264 format comes out perfect on my 50" TV...Happy with it!
  10. Speed bumps:banghead: Don't get me started on those ...it's not just the front scraping but also the chassis underneath as well. So I don't do speed bumps. Or if I've no way to avoid then its dead slow and left or right side front and back wheels over the bump only
  11. I have had no problem with the steering traction at all. The Potenzas are fine. If it ain't broke. Don't fix... However, the next evolution will see 10J Fronts with 265 R88Rs...some time next year to cope with planned power increase into the 800s
  12. Thought about it...NO. The extended Veilside front gives it that stealthy aggressive look. Also, the airflow is nicely directed.
  13. Car all clean and shiny. Nice day for a little drive. Much better traction now.
  14. Cheers Luc. Just a couple more tweaks then the wheels and suspension upgrade will be complete Then I can get on with the track racing whilst the weather's good :d
  15. Arches cut and folded. No rolling needed.
  16. And now the photos...had to hose the dust off from yesterday's drive first! You can see that the CCWs blend perfectly with the Rays Volk Challenger fronts - but for the blank centre cap...really got to find someone to make those up! And here's the aggressive camber - and slight overinflation too: Need to get that sorted... And here's how they fit sweet and tidy
  17. Will do - thanks Jamie.
  18. Ok guys...I'll be back to do more pics later today. I've been to WIM before and you need to know what you want before going...so any advice on track setup would be good. For instance, the R888s show up a big negative camber with the new HKS rears at standard setting. This gives about 40mm outer edge of tyre not being used....
  19. On drive back on motorway I felt the ride to be softer and smoother than my old setup. I will be tightening up the rears a bit and see what that feels like. And - how is WIM for custom Supra geo setups?
  20. Had a good day yesterday at Lee's: HKS Hipermax IV GTs fitted: New R888 315 compared to old Potenza 285: and I used to think the Potenzas were big! But the R888s fit nicely: Next step is to get made up CCW gold centre stickers - or Rays Volk stickers to go over the black centres. And to get a full geo setup done at WIM as soon as possible.
  21. For sure Jamie! Going to have a fun ride back later with those new HKS Hypermaxs fitted
  22. At Lee's today getting the car race prepped - only three weeks till the Supercar Event. Wheels and tyres at the local tyre specialist being set up and balanced. Did an underneath inspection - and the old Tein coilovers are shot. So having these bad boys fitted now: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153115672659584&set=oa.1589648727956849&type=3&src=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-xtp1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F11045433_10153115672659584_5025575589702912049_n.jpg%3Foh%3D1806984867d92f255e96c1ef9e1d291f%26oe%3D55C7148A&size=720%2C960 Then we'll get the new wheels on. I'll post pix later....
