The car failed its mot today on something which IMO is a bit trivial. They failed me on the "brightness of the headlights". Granted they are low and iv tried new bulbs but they dont seem to make any difference. The plastic is a bit faded aswell, but does anyone have the same problem? and does any1 know how to fix it.

The cars booked in to get its mot done on tue, so fingers crossed it goes straight through, i really dont want to miss this

here ya go mate, sorry it took so long but typical scottish weather this one shows where the exhaust rattles and this one shows the bent lamda sensor its better to bend it the other way as the cable gets a bit tight

it starts to knock when i turn left, ill take some pics and stick them up when it stops raining outside. IMO there was an improvement in performance, but my previous exhaust was in a really bad state so i dont know if tht had anything to do with it.

alright mate i bought the obx manifold and 2nd decat on ebay a while ago. It took a mate of mine about 5 hours to fit. The lambda sensors arent the right fitment. the o2 sensor in the 2nd decat needs to be extended. Once you do get the lamda sensors to fit onto the manifold, one of the sensors hits the fire wall so i had to bend it, oh and where the manifold a 2nd decat pipe join it rattles agains the engine bracket, but apart from that it fits perfectly:D I can take some pics if you want them

When i 1st got a supra i agreed with you 100% but as time got on my cars got a nice bodykit, full tein SS suspension a blitz nur spec r exhaust, and to find a nice TT with these sort of mods would be more than 4K i think, and i would like to think that once the conversion is complete the car would be worth a bit more anyway?

6 Speed would be a beast but how much would one of them set me back, a lot im guessing lol

I know theres a lot of threads about this topic but bare with me. I currently have a 5sp N/A and im wanting to go TT and BPU it somewhere down the line and keep my 5sp gearbox. I'm concerned tht the gearbox wont last very long as its done nearly 100K miles now, what do you recomend? Keep the 5sp or go auto?

alright mate, mine snapped on me one day which was kinda gutting, but i went to halfords and bought the univeral ones which didn't work at all so what i done was went to the scrappy and got them off an old starlet for nothing , job done
