  1. Just to check, it's this part? The most annoying thing about Toyodiy is that I can't figure out how to zoom in on the image! (unless you know how?) Nice one Now, any ideas where to get one? Mr.T is the obvious choice, but that may prove to be costly!
  2. Can anyone identify this part? My passenger side headlight has always been out of alignment, and I just figured it was because of a bit of bumper bend causing it to push the headlight up slightly. If you look at the underneath of the pax side headlight closely and compare it to the other side you can see that the bumper and headlight are pushed up slightly at the area near the main beam. But whilst I had the headlights out the other day I had a good poke around and noticed this! It looks like something attached to the front crash bar? Compared to the other side, it's clearly had a bash and is bent a little bit. More to the point, can this be replaced? I've had a poke around and it looks like it bolts to the crash bar and a few other places? Cheers Dan
  3. Top man Cheers Chris. I'll get stuck into that and let you know. I've ordered a new slave cylinder seal kit ready for the weekend anyway. Dan
  4. I've just parked up and had a look at the fluid levels, and the clutch fluid, although clean, is slightly below minimum level. Obviously this needs topping up, but what does it mean?
  5. I need the facelift indicator looms so I can do my wiring on the clear front indicators! Long shot I know, but if you don't ask, you don't get!
  6. I actually refurbed my master cyliner earlier in the year with new seals etc, should it pull it apart again? I didn't do the slave, so will give that a whirl.
  7. Also, might be worth mentioning, but the slack in the pedal wasn't apparent until the next day. Not sure if that's relevant
  8. I made quite a few runs to be honest. This is rubbish. It appears I got carried away! The annoying thing is that this clutch has only been on a few months! It still works totally fine, it still pulls well, it's just slackened off. I guess the only way to find out what's happened is to get the gearbox off then? If so, what am I looking for?
  9. So what's the solution? Surely not a new clutch!?
  10. Hi guys, Finally managed to get some decent pics of my Supra whilst at straightliners last weekend. I fitted clear facelift indicators also, which totally transform the look of the car, which is great! At straightliners my car ran really well, not expecting much as I've never done it before, but my best time was 13.71 @ 114mph, which I think is great considering I wasn't expecting to get out of the 14s! I also did two more 13 second runs, one at 13.88 @ 115 and a 13.78 @ 115. Next time I may invest in some Toyo 888s for a bit more time off Anyway, enjoy the pics Dan My Supra is on the right, and our very own Mike McEvoys is on the left. It really shows how much better the front end looks with those clear indicators. Lining up for a run. I took the headlight out for some cheeky cooler temps, since owning a TT I'm amazed at how bloody hot everything gets under there, I think a vented bonnet is certainly in order. Mike McEvoy lining up for a run. Some pics we took afterwards with my friends cars. For anyone familiar with the Isle of Man, or the TT course, these pics were taken at the bike museum on the mountain section.
  11. I did a straightliners event here in the Isle of Man last weekend, and although the car ran really well, the day after, my clutch pedal felt totally different. I have an NA-TT with an RPS Street Max Clutch. It's only a few months old and when I picked up the car with the new clutch the pedal was totally stiff all the way to the floor, with the biting point pretty much at the floor. Over time the biting point moved up as was to be expected, but the pedal remained stiff all the way, with only a slight bit of slack in the pedal. After the straightliners event there is now slack in the pedal of a few inches then you get the stiffness in the pedal, and the biting point is right at the floor again. Can anyone suggest what's happened here? I imagine that if I had worn the clutch, that the biting point would have infact moved UP and not down, and would not account for the slack in the pedal. I have spoken to someone about this, and they suggested that there is an air bubble in the system from the hot temps achieved at straightliners and that I should just bleed the system. Does this sound right? Thanks, and sorry for the drawn out thread, I just wanted to explain as best as possible the situation. Dan
  12. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Take that front lip off immediately! That's only the second car I have ever seen with the same Bomex front lip as mine! Damn you Jurgen and your medling!
  13. I see. Well, I'm happy with the power I have for now So basically my car isn't gunna break if I do this?
  14. Nah, no BPU for me! It's my understanding that the 5speed won't take BPU?
  15. There is a drag event over here on Saturday, and as mine is one of a small group of TT Supras I have been pestered into going! Does anyone have any tips on how to get the most out of the car? I've never drag raced before in the Supra so not sure when to change up etc. Also, what times should i be expecting? (It's a 1/4 mile strip) FYI it's an NA-TT 5 Speed Cheers Dan
  16. I have one of those 'push in' ones and I'm gunna get it changed because all you can smell is fuel around that area! Does anyone know if a toyota one is better or can I just get a standard one from a garage?
  17. Any specific recomendations Chris? I need a boost gauge too and fancied an electric one as opposed to mechanical. I didn't fancy tryng to wind tubing through the car without getting it kinked!
  18. Cannibal Corpse have some of the best song titles ever! Not many bands could get away with what they use on their 'Tomb of the Mutilated' album! Makes me laugh every time! (In a 'I can't believe they said that way, not a weird way! ) I've recently discovered Death, I find them a bit hit and miss, I enjoyed their Leprosy album. Dying Fetus - awesome. You should check out a band called Suicide Silence. Saw them at Download. They're really good.
  19. Death Metal, you can't go wrong! What's been on your playlist? I've been on a bit of a Dismember binge at the minute. Throwing some Anaal Nathrakh in there for good measure, but that can very quickly become too much for the brain to handle! Have you heard Brujeria?
  20. Just checked out 'Burnt By The Sun'. First time I've heard them. There will be Blood is a good track, and one called Dracula with Glasses. I will investigate further! I'm always on the look out for new stuff so if you have anything else like this (or anything that rocks) let me know.
  21. Dammit. That's not good. Do you think it's worth me getting in touch with the company I got them from? I haven't had them long. Surely they are under warranty?
  22. Any links to hand of the ones you have?
  23. Sorry for the dumb question, but what are these for? And what are the benefits?
