wow, good result. I have the walnut dash & dont know what to do, i dont want a glossy black finish from spraying so thought id end up finding a black dash somewhere. Yours is excellent. Might follow your lead. Like the carbon dash but £££ pricey. Ebay has similar looking carbon kits for less than £80, not sure on the quality though

im guessing its quite heavy anyway, so youve lost some weight on the plus side.

I fancy having a dump valve thats audible but i keep hearing conflicting arguments about them. ie: stick with the stock one, aftermarket ones dont do any good & other people saying it doesnt affect the engine, it just makes the noise. So, is it ok to fit an aftermarket dump valve to a standard car? Cheers.

so i need to ask the dealer if they altered it? i requested that they change the clocks to mph as part of the deal, maybe they did that too..i will check the total km next, see what it is before i go to work and what it is after. maybe that still counts km?

How hard is it to take the dash trim off, i want a black one, wheres best to get one? I reset the trip on the odometer to see how far it was to a place i sort of knew how far it was anyway. Something like 30-35 miles. When i got home it said about 30km....that cant be right. It should be a lot more km. So i did the journey to work which is just over 4 miles, reset the trip meter & when i got there it said 4.4km Im starting to wonder about the about of mileage the car has done now, it says 72000km or thereabouts, so i figured it had done 50k miles. Maybe its done 72000 miles. Anyone know whats going on?

I used red hammerite, way cheaper than the caliper painting kits & just lasts for a LONG time, resistant to high temperature, water etc, still as bright as the day i painted it, just gotta keep the calipers clean.

If you know his i.p cant you use that to stop him getting back in? Then again, he cant really damage reputations when he doesnt have a good one of his own. Here he is, enjoying life way over in Hong Kong.

Thankfully during the week, my journey to work is only 4 miles each way, so its ok. Probably just cause ive been driving around a bit with it being new that ive noticed more a-holes than usual . Maybe i should swap my quiet exhaust for a loud one to scare them away.

30mph zones are probably the most dangerous stretches of road there is, parked cars, animals, side turnings, driveways, kids, police. Id never forgive myself if i ran someone down speeding, dont think anyone else would either. Next to that would be country roads, i just keep fallen tree branches, horses arses & parents silly enough to take prams up roads with no pavement in my mind & i dont go so fast round the bends lol

my car is as far as i can tell 100% standard. Obviously some people think the supra's had its day. The twins remind them to respect the supra hehe Just out of interest, is the supras ride quite stiff as standard?

Theres some total psychos out there on hair triggers, i dont want to find the unstable ones by pissing people off on purpose lol. I dont hoover it, id have to go to a garage & use the vac. i live in an appartment block, looking forward to giving the car a wash, up & down the stairs woo. I take it its not wise to use a petrol station car wash when you have a big spoiler. Will have to find a hand wash place.

id only do straight line performance up to the speed limit, its enough. I only just got this car & never driven a RWD before, it would be suicide to go flying into corners & roundabouts. Im treating it with a lot of respect.

i always enjoy the other guys reaction to me pulling over after hes been weaving around behind me. They must feel like idiots. He had a "baby on board" thing in the back window too, tut tut. My favorite is coming off a roundabout going straight on, on the dual carriageway . Its then that you can really see the power the car has, everyone else takes forever to get up to speed lol Its a constant battle to keep the car where i want it, it just wants to go fast. Well, im not budging in a 30 zone, its just stupid. Saw a few corsas, they did seem a little timid lol. Im wondering if people in the know like to test supras, is there any way of telling an N/A from a TT just from looking?
