    Fault

Rad cap mate. Get a new stock one and stick it on there.
  4. It was a long day yesterday but, SHE LIVES again!!! James is an absolute legend with a set of spanners and a socket set. I was amazed at the sheer amount of work required for this engine transplant. James' attention to detail and general knowledge of the MKIV astounds me. We checked all the levels after putting fresh fluid in, new filters etc. Car idled perfectly, fired up first time and didn't overheat. Lovely journey home. Think we started about 10:30am and were done by 9pm. We had a visit from Adam 'hackinbashin' (can't remember how it's spelt lol) so he lent a pair of hands if we needed as he was working on his own car. We would have been done earlier if I was a bit handier with the spanners myself sadly I was the assistant which slowed things down. Honestly though, a massive thanks to James for giving up his Saturday to do this out of the kindness of his own heart. (Well a McDonalds breakfast anyway)
  5. Just another update. Ill be heading up to Peterborough tomorrow morning to fit the engine. Hopefully, ill be driving the car back home tomorrow.
  6. You could get a 2nd cat from Battersea Cats & Dogs home or from a private seller, although I don't know why you'd want a 2nd one (Apologies for not having anything constructive to add )

  8. Same with me mate. Always say to the Mrs, "bet you any money thats a scooby" I also have the Supra Sense too!
  9. Chances are someone will click that link..
  10. I would assume you screw the sides to the blade first then mount it to the car. As if you tried to install the sides on the car first you'd have no leeway for the blade to fit.

    What to Change?

Heard that's a bit of a hassle to do?
  13. There's the door...in that direction (Just Kiddin' mate, welcome to the site all the same)

    What to Change?

In terms of oil/coolant/brake fluid etc. how many Litres would I need to buy? (Apologies for what may seem a silly question)

    What to Change?

Haha. I won't be changing anything big on the car. Just small serviceable items or things that may break given general age and wear. Plus, I need to make sure that James is OK with the mini service I have planned
  16. So hopefully if everything goes to plan the 3rd NA engine will be going in the Supra this Saturday so thought it might be best to do a little service on the car just to keep my chances of not breaking this one as high as possible. What things are worth changing whilst we have the opportunity to do it and any brands you can recommend? Things like oil etc and what quantity I would need. Or anything that usually wears down an is ideally replaced. The donor car hasn't been in the country long and has about 70K on the clock (unsure of service history) Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Bargain!

I sent them an email about the car yesterday as it looked too good to be true. Nothing back yet though
  18. I have actually seen a dial set on a Supra which actually only goes up to 110. I remember thinking, WTF?!?! May have even been Bobs car.
  19. Thanks man. Haha. I'd just ask for the whole car
  20. Picked mine up from the parents house on Sun. What a great looking calendar with great quality to match. Well done mate. and thanks again.
