  1. Thankyou. So with a hKS ECU i dont need to worry. but do we know what injector the jap spec uses as stock?
  2. No one has actually answered the question directed. I have been adviced i can get a resitor pack but for what? high or low impedance injectors! Again i will ask a direct question, please forget fitting a resistor pack or of i have a resistor pack or not. ON A JAP SPEC SUPRA WHAT INJECTORS DO THEY USE? high or low impedance? Please correct me here but out of all the replies above no one has answered this question or am i being stupid here?
  3. does anyone have a defo answer for me please. We seem to be going around in circles. Simple question, what injectors do i need to purchase for a JAP SPEC supra. Do i need high or low impedance please?
  4. Thanks. ye i can build a engine etc but im more skyline based. When it comes to gearbox codes and stuff bolted to the outside i ent got a clue! i dont have a issue with fabbing stuff either. But i dont want to be making parts when i could of simply brought the part in the first place.
  5. Thankyou for posting the link. Regarding the search, i presume you searched for "r154 conversion" or similar judging by what you found. Its all well and good using the search if you know what your searching for. Me i don't know what a r154 box is hence i have spent hours looking around searching for things like " old gearbox conversion" I dont know the codes. Ask me any question regarding a skyline and i can tell you what to search for etc, but on the supra you have to bare with me! but thankyou for posting the link up. That will be a great help.
  6. So i need high resistance injectors then on my Jap Spec?
  7. Searched and read the thread about doing a standard 6 speed conversion and the argument over the speed sensor. Im looking more towards the other parts like the clutch pedal, master cylinder, the actual gearbox bolt pattern form the earlier supra. Does the box just bolt up but need a extra brace maybe? Any chance of a link telling me these answers ? or are you just talking about the 6 speed converstion thread that i think 'dude' wrote?
  8. Thanks for the reply. Im still lost tho. Does the jap spec have a resistor pack or not ? which ones do i need on my Jap spec car running a HKS FCON Pro ECU? Why does the supra have a option of high or low impedance injectors?
  9. Want to convert from auto to manual but dont have the money at the moment to buy a getrag until finished doing all the other stuff. So can i simply buy a MKIII supra and transfer the clutch pedal / gearbox and all the bits maybe leaving me to have a prop made and the tunnel needing to be modded? Or are the master cylinder, pedal etc different. Does the MKIII gearbox even bolt up or does it need a adaptor plate or maybe different bell housing? It would be nice if i can get it all working and simply swap to the 6 speed box at a later date. Basically i just want to get the car run in for 1000 miles and mapped on a manual box. I will worry about finding a 6 speed after this. thanks in advance
  10. Hi. Im confused. What injector do i need for a Jap spec supra. i have high flow rail etc and im looking for around 1000cc injectors. But do i need high or low impedance injectors? Or can i buy something to go with the injectors maybe so i can use which ever? Thanks in advance
  11. I will presume you drive a stock or maybe BPU supra? Trust me, when you start driving a more powerfull car there is a lot that can go wrong in a straight line. I was running at TOTB there last week in my skyline. Even with 4wd the rear end was swinging around 1st,2nd,3rd gear. The chap in question was doing 130 mph so i would guess he would be running maybe low 10's quarter. As some one else has pointed out, at York you run with a damp track and also the track is super slippy against normal tarmac. Even when TOTB was running we had to 'tell' them to glue the whole track as they only wanted to prep the 1st half. Also i think others that have run there that the track itself is not in the best condition, especially when you get towards the top end. There is no hair dryer. Infact there is no barriers either to keep you on the track. If something goes wrong you end up in a field.
  12. Hi, i have a set of stock TT cams + pullies from a Japspec car with 50'000 miles. open to offers. Please PM as i will forget to look here.

  16. No mate. Exhaust has been stolen and i think i know who by now.
  17. Here is my PM to you - Like i said and what this thread was started about was people not replying to PM's ! If you was not happy with the offer then you say NO. Simple. Or dont put up a price with ONO if you dont want to consider offers. Its simple.
