Hi, have had a long search and play around with the car but I have yet to solve my problem. I have an auto tiptronic vvti and like I have read there is no trac fuse, I cant turn the traction control off when the car is driving, only when snow mode appears, so how do I turn it off when i get in the car, button doesnt seem to do anything with ignition set to on, thanks Nick

the problem that you have here in England with beautiful women is that they are weird. Here is the order in which they seem to choose a guy: 1) guy in a powerful position or very popular guy from a group 2) amount of money 3) looks 4) personality and occasionally there are some girls so weird that they will actually not date a good looking man because they dont want a boyfriend who is more attractive than they are. Decent girls who are brought up well by their parents dont follow this pattern haha.

sorry for the hijack but I want to turn my standard traction control off because it keeps coming on a 2 mph, going to snow mode. But the button to turn it off only turns off "snow" when it appears, it doesnt work any other time. Anyone know why?

the thread is here because I am a returning Newbie haha. The spanish connection is simply that my family have fish restaurants here and we have the whole market because nobody else does it properly, so we moved to spain. Wondering what this thread title is doing in the new members section? Well, just flew over from England to Spain and bought my supra today. It's a 98 VVTi Auto in Quicksilver with 27,000 miles,bought it for £10,500, it is stunning. However, going throught the documents today I see the original advert of the car via JIC. It turns out that this is the very first supra I drove back in 2002. I went to JIC after becoming hooked by the fast and the furious haha:p, I remember putting a deposit on a supra they had which cost around £17,000. He then let me drive this other supra that had 11,000km on the clock and was an auto without a spoiler. It cost £25,495. It turns out that this is the car I bought today. £15,000 depreciation in 5 years for a car that has only done another 20k miles, aren't supras great value? I didn't buy the JIC supra, I went on to buy one from a guy called Mark Partridge who lives in Halesowen, because it was a 6-speed VVTi. But what a coincidence hey. Love the auto box now I am a little older and wiser:)

Not judged by money, and I agree that the subsidising will go back and forth during the relationship, but have to be prepared for the worst. You tell her that without you then you would not be getting any place at all, so she should accept a 70/30 split on total profit after each of you have already taken what you put in. She should really get 50/50, but you are in a position to bargain because you are putting in almost all of the deposit, so without you then it is a no go, but without her then it is possible you could find the extra 1/6th. Like you mentioned with your dad, dn't be soft on women, if things turn sour they always act like they never knew who you were in the past and have no sympathy.

Hi, my dad was born and grew up in Nicosia, but the Greek side, I assume from some of the language you have posted that you are from the Turkish side?? welcome to the forum, are there any other supras that you have seen in Cyprus?

If it was a modded car against the TT supra then it is possible it could destroy it because it is a lot lighter, but stock v stock there is no chance.

I have to say that the active spoiler makes the supra look fantastic, will definitely be keeping mine when I get my supra delivered, just have to paint it silver.

There are far too many Porsches here carrera 4's and cayenne. BMW's everywhere also, and yes, the parking is shocking, they will shunt your car to get into a space, fortunately I only use underground pay parking or private parking where I work and live.

I have 2 benefits living in Marbella. Rare to have a supra and very good weather all year round
